DEVS did you lost your minds???
Someone played red forest mothers Dwelling today? They completely ######### that map, it has now so many save loops, jungle gyms and save pallets. I thought the Plague map is already pallet heaven but this put it to new level!! I versed a 3v1 on that map and usually 3v1 are ez af, no big deal. But this time I had the struggle of my live. They weren't even swf, just decent solos. One pallet next to another, Spirit fury did #########.
Devs, do you need some medical help? What in tarnation you thought while changing it? Red forest was already one of the strong survivor maps. The ######### you think any killer has a chance against 4 survivors on that map unless he's Nurse?
I'm tilted and angry af right now, I was never so annoyed and disgusted by the devs like this for a long time. You clearly have 0 plan how to balance this game. You failed in my eyes, you are not competent enough for this job.

today I played coldwind and there were double pallets in jungle gym guess old days are back xD

Theory - They added double pallets back as a stealth nerf to killers when D-strike was nerfed.

Just take a break like I do, there really is no point playing with double pallet jungle gyms

Honestly, I have never seen a Double Pallet since 2.6.0. So they are quite rare, I guess?

Didn't they reduce the minimum distance down to 8 meters for pallets?
Man I was playing the other day, first time since 2.6.0, and the amount of safe pallets is actually ridiculous. I got a screen shot of 4 pallets lined up in a row, and the shack loop was included in that.

I just switched to nurse. I got comments on this basically every game (how unfun nurse is to play against) but when i point out windows loopable for ever and double pallets they suddenly have no arguments other than git gud.
@Aven_Fallen I actually see them very often on Huntress map, farm and pallet city. Even seen pair in The Game (no, not talking about those near basement).

I mean, yeah, they must exist, otherwise people would not complain about them. But I really had none of them in my games ever. Thats why I am wondering.

@Brady They increased it to 16 in patch 2.6.0, the Plague release. They also increased the minimum number of pallets that can spawn so yes, there is a higher possibility of double pallet loops.

They should just remove pallets, like previously when autohaven map centers have 0 pallets

On the confusion about double pallets...
They can still appear because the game has to place a certain nimber of pallets, this will ignore the range conditions if the minimum number hasnt been reached when theres "no free space" left.

@DwightsLifeMatters You failed to grasp the significance of the Plague's map being added to the Red's Forest realm. Since the new map is in Red's Forest the devs can take any of the new tiles, lets take the locker cluster for example, and put it on the old Mother's Dwelling. I know this because I have stumbled across the locker cluster on Mother's Dwelling repeatedly.

@DwightsLifeMatters Good heavens no! I'm just trying to raise awareness that when the devs add new maps in the future we should be mindful of whether they are in old realms or not. I find the number of safe pallets appalling but I put the blame with the pallet distribution system that likely intentionally makes double pallets through its "maximize the distance between pallets method" combined with a min number of pallets.

They upped the minimum amount of pallets per map, Maybe that's why? I know double pallets are back which should be a huge red flag.
I've also been seeing a lot more safe loops generating next to each other lately, but that could just be entirely coincidence due to RNG.

Not only that, you know that new jungle gym structure? They added it nearly everywhere. So not only they added more pallets, they added more pallets combined with strong structures to run you for you long. And imo he new jungle gyms are much stronger than the standard jungle gyms cuz there I no room for mindgames at all, it's always save.
