Already Your First 2v8 Mistake Devs
You didn't nerf Legion Enough and arguably you buffed him you lowered feral frenzy duration by 1 second and Killer instinct detection down to 4 but for some reason you lowered final hit down to 6 so he can get downs more often.
You really should have nerfed Legion more give him the Skull Merchant Treatment for the sake of this Mode if you want people to play it.

Played 4 games in a row legion-blight 4 times, game mode is ruined by legion I don't know why bhvr can never detect these very obvious problems, we can all play 30 minutes and see legion is broken

- I played 5-6 games today (all Survivor), Legion in every game. I'm not complaining, but he's the best "support" killer in this game mode.

Legion is problematic for 2v8 just like plague is blight,nurse, oni arent problem its legion. These killes are strong but they have to get their power (oni) or get through 2 health states but killers like blight or nurse which get hit quite easily compear to weaker killers (wraith on 2v8 is strong almost as ghoul in normal mode but the difference he gets first hit easily and its m1 combine him with legion and get there coms with your friend and you get fast downs as hell).
Once I played on ormond last 2v8 as nurse (you dont see her that much in 2v8 and blight is better in this mode in my opinion) and my teammate was legion how did survivors preform? they got destroyed because they were just one hit for nurse on quite open map (better for nurse than indoors if you dont have aura reading), the match ended with ddos and I wasnt even suprised. I always knew what will happen if they add legion or plague in this mode where killers are more powerfull than in normal mode (exept few exeptions like slinger and nemi, his zombies doesnt count maps are much bigger) and combine them with killer like oni which gets him more powers or twins,nurse,blight killers which can get hit quite easy.

I mean there are many good pallets to stun legion. You guys have to learn to put in effort. Instead of just nerfing every killer that feels unfun to play against.

Most killer players are duos which play togeather and ofcourse they will have some tactic for win and in like 50% of the build will be legion he is great for every killer exept the weaker ones like trapper,slinger,nemi,ghostface but every other killer just benefits with him and your friend which gets free info about survivors whereabouts from you and possibly much shorter chases because like half of the survivors are injured most time so its easy downs for killers like wraith,blight,nurse,spirit,huntress and more downs from oni who gets his power faster because he doesnt need to hit m1 that often, blood orbs are everywhere.

yeah he's the best duo for any killer really, you get so many free injures it's ridiculous, like seriously how can you think adding legion or plague in 2v8 would be a good idea, sorry don't want to be rude but it's just incompetence or idiocy i'm not sure

All I wrote is that I dont think killers like legion and plague should even be in 2v8, because they make other strong killers even more busted and survivors are doomed most of times because many killer duos are friends on comps so they get more info than they would normaly get what from this you dont uderstand.

I maintain my belief that Legion should not be in this mode at all and they completely ruin it.
Very disappointed, I just wont play it and save myself the irritation.

Legion simply doesn't belong in 2v8. He never should have been added and of course small tweaks like what we got in this iteration will not be enough to fix him. The fact that he got what is arguably a buff with the reduced hit count is also quite questionable.
His power of keeping every survivor injured for pretty much the entire trial is "fine" in 1v4, but if there is another killer, a power like that becomes problematic.
He needs much more severe changes in 2v8 to not break the mode, especially since they also added oni last time, who arguably profits the most of perma injured survivors.

I got to play a grand total of one Legion game before the servers totally conked out. I was paired with an AFK Billy; 8 hooks 0K if you were wondering. The Survivors were barely even trying and to be honest neither was I.
I think a Nurse could hold their own in a 1 VS 8 if they were skilled enough and I've seen a Huntress streamer do the same. But nevermind that, I guess Legion is really the problem and not these other Killers.
Sorry, but there's no way you guys have played enough 2 Vs 8 games against the nerfed Legion to come to any reasonable opinion on them yet (though I'll admit some of you are at least honest enough to say you don't want them in the mode. There's no point arguing with a hater).

Fully agree. Putting Legion into 2v8 was a huge mistake. Survivor is plenty fun for me in this mode but becomes insanely miserable with this one killer and ruins the entire experience. We’ll see how it goes but if I get Legion frequently in the first few matches I’ll probably just quit early like I did last 2v8 event.

I watched a few friends streaming last night and yeah… Legion, Legion and Legion followed by Legion. I have not played any 2v8 and I guess I definitely wont be.
It's okay, I have a massive backlog on Steam so I will just go back to trying to work through that :)

Other support killer just too weak. Like Ghostface? His exposed doesn’t work on half of killers, yet he doesn’t have bonuses to pressure people who is marked
DeathSlinger and Nemesis weak on their own
Spirit not that strong to pressure 8 people, despite having strong 1v1 + sound bugs (still) and silent rush
It’s just unattractive to play someone else except Legion, Wesker, Oni and Huntress maybe. Maybe Blight and HillBilly, but u need to be good player on them (which is hard)

Devs just gotta Skullmerchant treatment Legion in this mode yeah he won't be fun or fair but it's for the sake of getting Survs to play this mode

The complaint isn’t that Legion themselves are broken - it’s Legion + another killer that’s broken. You weren’t playing a 2v8 match when you were paired with that AFK Billy - you were in a 1v8. That’s not going to go well for you, or any killer.
Legion is balanced around wounding a lot of people quickly but downing them slower. Of course it’s going to be a pretty strong combo when you put them together with another killer that’s actively playing the game. Especially a Legion/Oni team - something I’ve been fortunate enough to not face yet.

He is unable to get SM treatment. His issue in 2v8 in core mechanic. No one removed drones from SM, so no one will remove frenzy from Legion
The only way to prevent him being unbearable is first survivors not allowing him continue his chain. Personally I always running to bodyblock him being in deep wound to prevent long chain of hits
But that takes risks being downed in chase later…

People will keep complain as some still DC because of SM in match
U’ll never able to please audience by nerfing stuff to the ground. Fog vials and SM are example. Not the killer, not survivor are happy with their changes

I don't want him gone I want him nerfed more I already faced 23 legions AND COUNTING running a medic class trying to keep everyone healed. How about you be honest and say you want him to thrive cause with your major bias showing it's fairly obvious.
Do you want 2v8 to fail? Do you want nobody to play it? Well congrats Legions ruin it for everyone!

My main argument is that everything is busted in 2 VS 8 and that's kinda the whole point. A couple of medics in the lobby can undo all the Legion's pressure in an instant. The Scout can rebuild pallets that can be used to easily stun them out of their power early. Escapist can make them whiff with Sprint Burst on demand. I wouldn't put up with a 3 dash Wesker or super speed Oni in any other mode (I loath these Killers in 2 VS 8). There are so many things in 2 VS 8 that aren't fair or balanced. So if everyone else in the lobby gets to play with their broken toys, why not Legion as well? In my view, 2 VS 8 is not a serious game mode that needs careful balancing like 1 VS 4. The stakes are low and the games are fast. It has to be this way, otherwise few would stick around to be double teamed by a Blight / Nurse combo.
I honestly think BHVR nerfed them because of a very vocal part of the community that just hate this Killer and won't accept any version of them in the mode. We will see the same complaints when BHVR get around to adding The Clown, The Ghoul or Skull Merchant (if her rework is not well received).
As it happens, my initial impression is that Legion haven't been nerfed to the point they're no longer worth playing in 2 VS 8. They are still fun but definitely weaker than they were. Anyone who's actually played them in 2 VS 8 will tell you that if the Survivors do all the right things, it can be very difficult to get any pressure going. And they're half a Killer in this mode without a good partner.
