I'm saying this as someone who already knows when Killer Instinct is applied to me as survivor, PLEASE MAKE IT MORE OBVIOUS THAT YOUR LOCATION IS BEING REVEALED. I'm not sure if I can withstand any more solo players obliviously revealing their location to the killer when it could not be more detrimental to the team.

    I wouldn’t mind this, but new players wouldn’t change anyway. I see this all the time in 2v8, where you get a status effect telling you the killer can see your aura, yet I commonly get players trying to hide behind a rock when I can see their aura.

    I’m personally in favor of a change to tell both survivors and killers whenever their aura is being revealed (and can include killer instinct, since a good player will know if it applies), but a lot of people crutch on that stuff so the idea always gets pushback (see: 3 downvotes on your idea with no discussion)

    It might be interesting to make it so whenever your aura is revealed on either side, you're made aware of it. Even for perks like Kindred. It could end up being a healthy change in this stage of the game.

    Which as an existing player you know when youre being revealed since its obvious if you know every killers power, so you can already hold W if needed. New players though? Theyre clueless.

    I cannot tell you the amount of time my friends who I introduced/reintroduced to the game go; "how did he know I was there!?" because they have absolutely no way of knowing theyre being revealed with killer instinct. Other than me telling them after its too late. Its just frustrating for them and Im sure theyre not alone.
