Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

so not sure if this has been spoken of, but wondering with the new Myers game coming up are we saying goodbye to the shape and the map? also someone did a fan based Myers game, the very first Halloween which was awesome :)

The Akkads probably won't pull it. They've never seemed all that stingy when it comes to Michael aside from his portrayal.

He's their OG license. Been in the game almost 9 years now. I would say if any license is safe it's him.

And as already mentioned we never lost Bubba when the TCM game came out.

On the road map they just shared they have Myers getting an update, I don't think they'd bother if he was going to leave.

We didn't lose Leatherface with TCM or Ash with the Evil Dead Game so not sure why Halloween would be different.

On multiple social media posts about the Halloween game when people aren't bashing Gun for abandoning TCM they are asking "why bother when Myers is already in DBD?" 😂

With Myers rework soon and Leatherface not leaving, it doesn't seem like we're in danger of losing the Boogeyman thankfully.

With Gun Media's reputation, there probably would've been a riot if we did lose our first ever licence. No matter what you think of the DBD devs, the Texas Chainsaw situation was something else entirely.

I think the license would already have been pulled before people learned about the game.

Happened with Hellraiser, and ST, anyway.

No he won’t be leaving thankfully. Funny how people were saying BHVR needs competition and this drops like 2 days later after everyone said it

Sadly it won’t effect much it’s made by gun it will be abandoned in a year and a half

Nothing to worry about. Anything from gun media is a cash grab since they abandon games in like year

Considering the reputations of both studios working on the Halloween game and their track records… I doubt we'll lose Halloween. Maybe if the game explodes and the dev teams don't shoot themselves in the foot (again), then we might be in trouble. I don't see us losing it immediately though, it would be a bad business move on their part.

    Doubt it just like TCM.

Same company attached to it..Gun Interactive. Horrible company that should be shut down. They have a track history of abandoning their games, arguing with their playerbase, loading their games w/ disgusting and horrid MTX, etc.

I doubt the license will be revoked for a brand new game, that is 99% likely to fail.
