Game is officially broke
This game is trash officially. Sorry, this needs to be posted. The gen speeds are outrageous and the survivors have way too much going for them. This used to feel balanced, it makes no sense anymore. Chase for more than 30 seconds, you’re cooked. How is that logical? Devs are failing this game, usage is down dramatically. Surviving should be extremely difficult, all 4 surviving is happening way too often and if you think it’s skill, try me and you’ll end up like every other survivor who tried me in a custom game lol

Takes 90 seconds to do a gen. They ain't getting 3 gens done in 30 seconds. Even 4 survivors on one gen can't do it in 30 without toolboxes or perks. And if they did have those things, one gen doesn't cook a match.
I had a match yesterday. Killer found me at the 47 second mark. Chased me. 3 gens popped at the 2:12 mark. Killer kept chasing me for 20 more seconds before DCing. So yeah, more than 90 seconds for the gens to finish, and about 90 of it in chase. Your chases are longer than you think.

What is your kill rate? Average across all players is around 60%. I’ve been playing Wraith (a very mid-tier killer) recently and my kill rate over the past 30 days is over 70%. I’m not an especially skilled player. So it’s very possible for average players like myself to to do well with mid killers. Some matches you’re going to get stomped, but most you are not. The overall stats don’t indicate that survivor is overpowered whatsoever.

Killer agency is continuingly being removed or down played every update.
Injuring people means little now as there are so many ways to heal fast.
Gen regression means nothing as it has been over nurfed.
Hooking is a problem as it often just gives survs access to their most powerful perks (For losing).
Slugging is a massive gamble now as there are so many way to counter it, so is not reliable for pressure.
Tunnelling can massively backfire due to Anti-Tunnel perks having some of the most busted effects in the game.
Far too little agency for the killer and way too much for the surv role.

I get the occasional 4 man out but it's rare, and it's always because theyre simply the better players so I cant be mad. I win the majority of my games, and the times I dont win are typically a draw (2k). The game isnt designed to constantly give you strong teams, so if you are losing to even the mediocre teams then it's likely your gameplay. Feel free to record a game and post it, people here will give you advice. Since you mentioned chase, it could simply be something like you overcommitting to chase. Knowing when to drop chase is a skill in itself. There's no such thing as a perfect player in this game. We all have weaknesses and we all make mistakes. Some people use perks to supplement where they are weakest, while others work on improving in that area.

The game probably seems pretty rough if you're new to killer… but boy would you have been really upset when maps were bigger, safe loops were everywhere, gens took less time and everyone was running Dead Hard because it was such a no-brainer.
