Who was supposed to enter 2v8
Devs decided not to add any New Killers in 2v8 however that wasn't always the case it's been discovered in the Code that Chucky and Clown were supposed to enter this 2v8 iteration before devs decided not too.

very glad neither came to 2v8 because 1 Chucky is one of the most hated killers overall and 2 clown would need only nerfs to be able to be in 2v8

Mostly it’s lingering dislike from when his scamper was stronger and his playstyle was just “follow survivors under every pallet and get the hit regardless.”
I don’t think his hate is justified still but, I think that’s the cause.

Quick cooldown, hard to see. Former Chucky could manual scamper, but at least his power took 18 seconds to return and not 14 seconds. Universally, those first two points are why hes generally hated.

Clown in 2v8 should keep majority of his recent buffs, and then they should nerf his 1v4 back to what it used to be.

I want to play lich in this mode must be really fun, honestly some killers like plague and doctor would ruin the mode they need to stay out… i think the safe ones are lich, houndmaster, demogorgon, dracula, hope they add 2 killers next time

Makes a lot of sense, since they both had recent cosmetics added to the shop.
I'd love to see Chucky in the mode since he's one of my mains. Maybe not a popular addition, but at least it would give Survivors a rest from my Legion and all the mending I've been making them do.
I only play Chucky for the memes and because I like the character with no expectations of winning. He's not the Killer he used to be and is pretty weak at present. Could be they'd buff him up to the level of his second iteration for 2V8, which would be great for Killer players but I'm not sure how well that would be received by many Survivors (I'm guessing, not well at all). Clown at the moment is misery to go up against and could rival Legion for all the hate he would get.
It's probably for the best they didn't add them in this round of 2V8.

I also think it is a lingering thing, but I guess it also stems from how scummy some of his players are.
Same can be said about Sadako, Oni and Bubba to some extent. So, these problems are not Chucky-exclusive.1 -
Chucky and Clown were supposed to enterThe fact that the devs have code for killers who they are working on implementing, but have not yet finished, isn't a surprise. That doesn't mean they were planned for this version, though it might be an indication of which two killers are likely next when they are ready.

Post survivor pts syndrome or what, just people hating him because he was top 5 strongest killers when released and stron some time after first nerfs now he is just mediocre killer at best.

He's in my top 3 for most hated but not for the killer himself (the abilities are fine and he's hilarious), but for the players. Absolute dicks gravitate towards him. They seem to think they need to actually be him to play him. I've never met a chill, merciful, or friendly Chucky.
