Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Survivors playing extra aggressive after being unhooked, with the new changes

I have a lot of thoughts on the anti tunnel and anti slug changes. Some positive and some concerns. For the most part, I think not as much will change in the lower MMR on the survivor side. Where survivors tend to be more scared of the killer and are off hiding in a corner somewhere after an unhook. But I do think that higher MMR survivors are going to use these changes to play as aggressively as humanly possible after being unhooked, knowing the killer will be punished if they hooked them again. And if the killer slugs them, they will just get up again.

It's entirely possible that running up to the killer after being unhooked and doing a little tbag will become the new "exit gate" thing to do. Or following the killer around with a flashlight in a much more aggressive way, or taking more protection hits with zero risk involved in doing so. And of course just sitting on gens and doing them in the killer's face. And if the killer DOES end up tunneling you out for doing all this, you get the reward of punishing the killer and helping your teammates from the great beyond. And some survivors will do all this just because they hate the killer in general. Or for laughs.

I understand why the devs are making these changes. Unfortunately I do see it being a situation where you can't really help the weakest players in the game without also helping the seal team 6 players. And I do feel bad for killers who are going to be going up against that. But in medium to especially low low MMR, this really could keep some survivor players from just rage quitting the game.

Yeah honestly thats what i suggested.

If they pick up an item even or drop it that will turn off their protection.

Because generally speaking the whole point of this system is to get somewhere safely far away to get healed and not be followed and main.

Its not to allow aggressive plays.

Probable change coming like that in PTB

Just……………………. stab them…………………….? If they get slugged as a result, then they have to sit on the ground until someone comes to save them. If they have to wait 90 seconds to get up with the auto-timer, then that's 90 seconds they weren't on a generator. That's what we do now to people who want to bodyblock with endurance and want to click click while injured and that has not changed. Literally just stab them.

A dream that will never come true given how ''complex'' it would be to code into the game.
