Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Will Sadako and Twins receive compensation buffs for this patch?

since Oni is getting a fatty buff to the amount of red orbs that he gains after hooking a survivor as compensation for the slugging changes, it would be reasonable to to give buffs to killers that also rely on slugging like Twins, and Sadako.

In another thread, Mandy did say there needed to be much more than a number tweak on Twins to make them fit this new system. I assume the same is for Sadako, Pig, and the faster death hook mori trio, or perhaps "mini-moris" don't trigger this system... somehow?

Sadako got hit the hardest this patch with the anti tunnel stuff if someone been killed before 6 hooks. I don't play her, but isn't it fairly common for her to get a condemn kill before 6 hooks? This would be a rather big nerf to her removing her ability to regress gens with how her kit works.

It depends on how well Onryo can apply condemn pressure and how well survivors can do tape runs. Onryo shifts the game from survivors avoiding hooks to survivors avoiding condemn. A typical Onryo game against a good team will generally have someone get condemned moried by 1-2 gens left with only 1-4ish hooks I'd say, or no moris at all because survivors managed their tapes well.

Of course you occasionally get the games where 1 survivor won't engage in the counterplay and do tapes so the whole team dies at like 4 gens, but that is more of a survivor failing than something Onryo should be punished for. Killers shouldn't be punished if survivors don't engage in the counterplay.

Onryo is an unconventional killer, so changes that BHVR makes to address conventional play need to take Onryo into consideration and the impact it will have on her. If survivors know the counterplay Onryo is not a strong killer in the slightest and these changes will hurt Onryo for finally getting a condemned survivor out of a game that is likely already very close.
