Dbd is now and always have been survivor sided.
People might down vote me and disagree but idc because the truth is I don’t understand how killer is suppose to be punished for doing their objectives by hooking survivors and tunneling is a strategy for killer to get early pressure in the game. Not saying it’s right to tunnel but why isn’t anyone mentioning why killers tunnel in situations. Is it the gen rushing? Is it how large certain maps are? Is it the amount of loops and pallets? Or is it how far the gens are too spread out?
Slugging is an issue yes but it’s going to hurt killers like Twins and Oni. And basically they might just have a whole rework at this point.
Also Sadako Pyramid head and Pig might as well get a rework because they use a mori as their ability if they kill a survivor and the rest of the 3 survivors will have repair gen speed which is not needed at all. Gen rushing is already a huge problem in dbd because survivors can pair up with toolboxes and a lot of meta gen builds. And people say the game is balanced when the devs is only favoring one sided?

Thats the thing its too much to ask for survivors to bring perks to counter killer play. They need those slots for second chance perks. Non of these changes seemed to consider killer enjoyment and just created a bunch of force play rules with ways to killers to arbitrarily punish themselves. These are of course also going to be abused by survivors so we're going to have to deal with people trying to bait the buffs or knowing their immortal since we cant kill them and they can just get up from down while your forced to chase down their friends ratting around the map. It will basically force everyone to play s rank movement killers to take advantage of the most lively token buffs were going to kill for having to spread hooks and avoid obvious weak links. I just tell myself its not a competitive game and I should just think of it as a fun party game to play after work.

Somewhat what im trying to say is instead of taking perks like shoulder, no mither, or unbreakable directly used to be anti tunnel or slug now its freed up for more perks like DS and Dead hard to get out of bad play situations. In addition to anti pressure perks like deliverance.

Yeah wasn't the best example, but it can still be used alongside all these other now basekit perks. Now you dont have to choose.

It's like how lots of perks turn off for survivors once the gens are completed or how Billy/Bubba can camp the hook. Why? Well, if they couldn't, the game would break down.
3v1 has never been in a good state. An elimination in the early or mid game was so powerful that the survivors had no chance. That's not a healthy game design.
An elimination that early will still benefit the killer, you're still getting a player out, but, depending on what the boosts are, the survivors still have a chance.

Yeah. The most balanced state IMO for DBD would have been 6.1.0 outside of the gen kick meta. But then until now they added a LOT of basekit macro hand holds to survivor.

Al though it makes sense that some one would drop a game after a few years. People grow, they might of found another game or other hobbies. Lots could of changed from now and then.

Yeah, that's true.
Game plays a lot differently than it did then as well. I'm sure plenty of people no longer vibe with it.

As Oni you still have insane map mobility and an easy-to-hit instadown, Twins still possess the ability to be in two places at once and get quick downs. Killers like this get their strength because of how quickly they're able to get downs their ability to slug efficiently is only a perk of that. I'm convinced you have 10 hours in the game.
