Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Guess on the Numbers

So as we all argue over how the next patch will destroy DbD for ever and ever, one of the big things is we don't have any numbers. This most likely intentional on BHVR's part to stir interest over the weekend.

Now we could do the reasonable thing and all calm down and wait just a couple of days for the actual numbers.

But that's boring. Let's all lean into the pandemonium. Cards on the table time so we can all be embarrassed later, what do you think the number changes will actually be for the basekit changes?

I'll jump in first.

Gen Progress after a death before 6th Hook: 10% (I wouldn't be surprised if this higher in the PTB for testing with the presumption of getting nerfed down)

Haste bonus: 20% for 10 seconds (this one is tough, because I don't know if they are going for a small, long term buff, or whether it will be a high very short buff to help with map traversal)

Unhook Visual Timer Delayer: 10 seconds, though I saw this in a video as well so that might be confirmed.

BBQ: I think this will be the exact same as current BBQ, except only applying to survivors with equal or less hooks.

Pop: 10% (so a total of 15% on the gen kick)

See the killer aura on unhook: 3 seconds

Elusive + Immunity to Killer Instinct: 15 seconds or conspicuous action

No collision: 30 seconds or conspicuous action or hit by the killer

Gen's blocked from regressing: 60 seconds (don't think they mean permanent in the patch notes)

What I think will be changed post PTB:

Even though I've joked about it, I don't think they can walk this back. They've been saying this is the next big direction of the game for a long time. Things like the 'no haste stacking' had attacks from both sides, you'd need overwhelming responses of this not working for it to totally be canned.

I suspect that a lot of values (on both sides) might come in high to test them, and then be nerfed back (i.e. test the extremes).

I think the hook two survivors in a row penalty will just get folded into the death before six hooks issue.
