Pallet Density increased!?

Pallet Density Quality of Life Update
  • Updated various Realms to adjust the quantity and distribution of pallets, reducing the presence of "dead zones".
    • Affected Realms: The MacMillan Estate, Autohaven Wreckers, Coldwind Farm, Crotus Prenn Asylum, Haddonfield, Backwater Swamp, Red Forest, Yamaoka Estate, Ormond, The Decimated Borgo

Wow that's just a icing on the cake for Killers rn

Damn I have more reason to hate swamp now lol.

  • Wouldn't Lampkin Lane have been enough?

To be fair, especially Coldwind and Haddonfield spawned huge Deadzones and the Pallets which they get will most likely be very unsafe, since they dont really feature structures anymore which allow for strong Pallets. Backwater Swamp also had RNG which allowed the Map to spawn with basically nothing in the middle area.

Not sure about the rest, I dont think they were that bad when it came to Pallets.

reducing gen regression to make way for a hook buff to gen regression, while simultaneously making it harder to catch survivors to be able to hook them and get the regression bonus. Boy I’m glad survivors can do their objective as fast as they want. I can’t wait for the constant survivor complaints about only seeing the same 3 killers on repeat. This is what they’re asking for, one play style for everybody because they can’t adapt or change their perks.

Some of those maps had really low density, so it does make sense.

Never really had that issue with some of these, though, was Borgo particularly bad in this regard? I don't get that map often, but I never noticed a huge dearth of pallets on it.

Borgo was up there with Haddonfield and coldwind for deadzones. Yamaoka and Swamp were nearly as bad but at least had some strong areas. Autohaven and MacMillan seemed very rng dependent but could be strong at times. Crotus, Ormond, and Red Forrest I dont recall any consistent egregious layouts. Maybe Temple of Purgation since they made the map too small on a couple sides of main.

Haddonfield and some of the Coldwind maps are the only ones that needed this.

Haddonfield already got improved pallet density like a month ago, actually.
