Can we please stop forcing voice lines into the game
Seriously this is getting old. The random repetitive quips are so frustrating and immersion breaking it kills the excitement of roleplaying as the new characters. It's bad enough characters talk to themselves in the lobby why are we forced into trial interactions.
By all means continue with the voice work for whoever enjoys it, but there is zero reason to continue without a toggle to remove the voice acting. Please consider making voiced characters an opt out feature. I'm sure it's great for someone who just got the game but it's not the game many of us bought years ago and just kills the experience for many players who have been around for years.

Girl it's not April 1st chill with this post 😭

Speak for yourself, I like my characters to feel like actual human beings that react to what's happening instead of flesh rocks

I don't mind them adding voicelines per se, especially for characters that don't speak English.
But an option to turn them off would be great.

I totally agree, I've been hoping for an option to mute voice lines for ages 😭
It's not really for immersion, but I feel like it ruins the mood and gets annoying real fast, especially during the game. Taurie is the only survivor who's voicelines I don't mind, but characters like Orela and Sable I just can't play because the constant quips bother me too much. I feel like these canned lines really don't add much personally, I would really love to turn then off.

Which you can enjoy. But they really should add a toggle so that people who dont like voicelines dont have to deal with them.

I would love a mute voice line option. The only one I ever enjoyed was Bruce Campbell but that's because I'm a biased fan of his and even his lines started to get annoying after a bit.

Outside of certain licensed characters that lean into the meme side of things (Ash, Nic Cage), they just take away from immersion during a match and the lines get old fast. I hope they never go back and add them to my mains.

A mute option would be nice, per character. Some I like, some I don't. My killers I'm just used to at this point. I want all my survivors to have lines because none of them should (theoretically) be speaking English and I'd like to hear them speak in their native tongues.

Not everyone who you disagree with is joking; but if your intention was to minimize and humiliate OP and their suggestion, that's not very appropriate either.
@Topic I would love for this to be a toggle because it's just unnecessary audio clutter after the first 2 or 3 times you hear a voice line. Too bad they probably diverted valuable development resources to get out the Jim badge in record time, so that puts this potential QOL change at Q3 of 2028 at the earliest :) (sarcasm intended if it wasn't obvious).

it was special when Pinhead came but yeah it's a bit much now. I really hope old survivors are never given lines

This is fair. Personally, I like the voicelines but they’re not for everyone. I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to give us the option to turn them off.

I really wish we could get a option to turn off voice lines in general. Also turn off animation for killers in the lobby too.

No you're right I'm sorry guys that was unnecessary of me 😭 a toggle would be nice but I personally love the voice lines, even if they are corny

I'd like to see TWO toggles. One for Killer and one for survivor. I'd love to silence Taurie Cain, but I would be sad if it meant I would lose Chucky and Pinhead etc.
