Kicked out of the game due to Corrupt Purge

I was playing a game versus The Plague, did 4 gens, rescued people a couple of times. Then The Plague found me and vomited on me. I managed to lose her. She got her powerup from the fountain and found me again, the moment she hit me with it I was downed and kicked out of the game. Completely. It gave me an error saying I had gotten disconnected from the Internet and made me load the game again. My boyfriend is playing Arena of Valor and my godson is playing Fortnite... none of them got DC so it was clearly not an internet issue. Has anyone had a similar issue? I'm on PS4 btw

    Could be cause so many games were being played at once? Or the killers internet bugged out and kicked everyone.

    My guess is the killer is using Wi-Fi and the connection dropped

    Wi-Fi is the worst.

    Please if you play on console and play killer also use a god damn lan cable.

    Even when you get green ping's on Wi-Fi the connection is so bad you think your getting lag switched.

    Devs should really encourage players to go wired on a p2p game

    There's a random bug where if your involved in an interaction of some kind, running, working on gens, cleansing a totem, killer interaction you'll get booted.


    But there's also no rhyme or reason for why it happens and on your screen it'll show the killer dc'd and on their screen and everyone else's you dc'd.

    Its simply a buffed version of the corrupt purge.. not only does it injure you, it also kicks you from the game..

    ;)

    all jokes aside i think that these type of crash issues sometimes occur with the game. Pretty sure its a bug
