Vecna and Vaults

I think Vecna is way too forgiving to survivors on vaults.

I had a match where a survivor vaulted a window, I predicted they would vault back so I faked going through the window and canceled flight. The survivor, indeed, vaulted back, but then had the time to vault back AGAIN before I could swing, even through a medium vault.

I think this is silly. Like, I think if this happens with Dracula you actually do get the hit.

I think Vecna's post flight cooldown should either be reduced, or he should push survivors more easily and sooner away from a window vault if they vault back into him. Even if it still takes him a little bit to be able to swing or perform other actions post flight, it'd at least be nice to deny the vault back.

If a survivor is unpunishable for their mistakes it just makes the power feel kinda pointless and it feels frustrating., It kinda feels like a lose lose scenario for Vecna, regardless of what I do.

I know he recently got a buff on his spell cooldowns and while that feels very nice, i still think a lot of his kit is way too counterable. He's basically a walking knowledge check, where if the survivor knows what they're doing he can't really do a much in a lot of scenarios.

I think this would be a nice change to reward the Vecna player if they correctly predict what the survivor is going to do.

I dont think it was so much about their getting a chance at vaulting before you could swing so much as people using fly to land ontop of people and hit them long before they can reach anything. So they kinda recently added that longer attack after fly cooldown

Right, I know you can use Fly to bodyblock people, but if it's too far to bodyblock, but close enough to pressure the survivor into making a decision, at least it should reward you if you correctly predict what the survivor will do at a vault. Again, if you're Dracula, and you predict the survivor is going to vault back into you, you get the hit. Vecna should be the same imo.

If this is not the case, it just starts to feel like…well what's the point? That survivor had the time to vault the window 3 times, before my flight cancel was done. My prediction was correct, and I couldn't capitalize because the animation just gave too much space for the survivor to correct again and again. It's a bit too lenient imo.

For whatever reason when killers have multiple parts to their kits BHVR is super paranoid about overbuffing any particular part of the kit, but this unfortunately tends to mean this ends up with the killer becoming extremely mediocre overall (Drac)

I don't even think so, this is simply the weakest part of vecna's flight, which mind you has been buffed to the point where it is a really good mobility power. Also what part of dracula is mediocre? He's quite good.
