Hot Take: all the maps in the game kinda suck
Imo every single map in the game sucks to some capacity but some are just worse then the others and it seems like they keep getting worse. I mean just take a look at the last 3 maps we have been given fazbears dead sands and fallen refuge. Those maps are terrible Fazbears is not a indoor map fully like we all wanted, dead sands is just dash killer heaven and fallen refuge is just pallets and windows the map oh but cant forget the walking dead "building" on it.

Walking dead map is just a mistake that should not have happened and someone screwed it.

i personnaly dislike the greenville realm as awhole simply bc of the amount of pallets everywhere making basically every m1 killer useless since you cant mindgame them since they arent tall enough)

Greenville was the begining of the double pallet slop that the latest maps have had and its annoying for m1 killers and just lazy from a map standpoint

Worst are the white tall fence loops, they are long so many think they can be mindgamed but truth is they can because first survivors will know where you are because of heartbeat indicator how far you are and second most important part killers red stain can be seen through gabs in these fences not to mention if someone has some filter for brighter color or some more red focused filter then they see you like there was tall glass.

truth be told i think Toba is one of the better maps on the game. It hits the sweetspot of map size and the pallets are not scarce but not plenty at the same time. But when you get to greenville if it werent for the aesthetics and the main building having a good pallet in the theater it would be bottom 5 for me.

yep i have noticed in a lot of maps, specifically the out door maps have pretty much the same loops/jungle gyms. slightly different look like there might be a bush in the way on 1 map and a rock or wall in the way on another but the general layout of the loop is usually the same. theres a few "special loops" thats exclusive to certain maps like rpd has the big one in the middle but most have the same T shaped or L shaped loops. Most maps have the shack too and it can be repetitive dealing with a reskin of the same stuff over and over. in door maps seem to have more unique loops and generally better layout than the wide open plan out door maps with the odd jungle gym blotted about but indoor maps are few and far between.

I actually agree. There are some maps that I despise more than others, but I don't think there's a single map that I actually like.
And would you believe that I still have not been to The Walking Dead map yet?

Fazbears is commonly considered a very balanced map, regardless of its lack of homage to the games
Dead Sands just has stupid gen spawns, you can get a nasty 3-4 gen bottom side
Fallen Refuge is lazy and too small. No one knew this was even going to be a map or not, but personally I'd like it gone

i personnaly HATE the fnaf map.. why? simple it spawns wayyyy to many tiles for the survivors to work with and have overal quite safe gens

It's mainly the new ones, imo.
Dead Sands and Fallen Refuge are both jokes.
Freddy's is kind of a bummer, since the building is way too small.
And Greenville Square only needs better gen spawns and maybe some normal loops in exchange for all the double pallets.

I promise you're not missing much. Fallen Refuge is absolutely tiny, and basically a guaranteed 4K for any killer with any ranged ability or basic mobility. So basically any killer.

Dead Sands is easily the worst map in the game for me. It feels like an adult-sized sandbox with nothing going on. There's very little to prevent an early steamroll and it's incredibly boring on top of that.
I'd have more to say about Fazbear's and TWD but they're some of the rarest maps in the roster right now.

The Fallen Refuge map I've played on twice as survivor and twice as killer. One time while playing each roll, I've seen the most ridiculous 4 gen spread by the main building (or tile or whatever it's supposed to be) part of the map. As killer you can walk past each of the gens in the area within probably 10 seconds, if even that much. This really needs to not be able to spawn like this and desperately needs fixing. It's not every time, but if it does spawn, it's an automatic killer win. Any killer in the game can protect it even with the kick limit if they have even a minimal knowledge of the way the game works.

just wish we got more diverse outdoor maps in general. I hate the “main building with forest around” it’s kinda getting annoying

I'm also bored of the singular main building in a forest map(s), they've had so many missed opportunities for new exciting indoor maps like a castle for Dracula's chapter and prison for the walking dead. I think the only map that rivals other horror games in terms of visuals/ quality is RPD, the rest seem so lazy.
