Subject: Suggestion: Alternative Mori Animations as Cosmetics (for Customization & Monetization)
Hello!
I would like to suggest an idea that would greatly increase customization for killer mains and become a great source of revenue for BHVR.
The Idea: Add several alternative Mori animations for each killer that can be unlocked.
Why is this a good idea?
1. Customization: After thousands of hours, the same Mori becomes stale. Different finishing moves would freshen up the game for those who love playing the same killer.
2. Monetization: This is one of the most requested types of cosmetics in the community. Players would be happy to buy packs of alternative Moris for Auric Cells or unlock them for Iridescent Shards.
3. Rift Content: Unique Moris could be excellent rewards at high Rift tiers, increasing its value.
How could it be implemented?
· Store: Sell packs of 2-3 alternative Moris for a specific killer.
· Offerings System: Keep the current system, but when an "Ebony Mori" offering is activated, it plays a random animation from all the ones you have unlocked for that killer.
· Rewards: Add special Moris as rewards for Prestige 100 or other achievements.

Its like BHVR is pretending to be allergic to money with the time they waste not putting it in.
Surely there are hungry animators in their studios too, just think what you could do if you had a small army of them.-1 -

Hey, could you help me get more eyes on this? The more people see it and vote it up, the higher the chance BHVR will stop "pretending to be allergic to money" and actually do it.

I can see it working well with originals. They did mention they eventually want to get as many of the mobile skins/moris in the base game as they can later, now that mobile has been closed. But even those were tied to specific cosmetics like how naughty bear/mega moose works, which those moris so far would not make sense on the base cosmetics (trapper yelling BOOO!, huntress impaling someone on her bunny ears).
As for licenses i can see it working as well just a slower process as they have to ask each license holder for new moris, then get them approved by them etc. But if they are getting a cut on the sales of those moris i can see them mostly being fine with it.

Are you saying that it probably won't happen, and if it does, it won't happen very soon?

Im saying it could work. They are currently quite busy with the fixing of the game pushing everything including prestige rewards back by months so it wouldnt be soon. If anything they havent finished their current roadmap of changes, maybe something they can add for later. As for the outfits that alredy have moris attatched to them, they would have to remain exclusively with that 1 mori as they can't add the same new mori animations to those different characters.

I totally agree with you, I'm aware they're swamped with fixes right now, and that's definitely the priority.
That's actually why I'm promoting this idea now – not for them to drop everything and do it tomorrow, but to plant a seed for the future. If we start discussing it now and gather enough support, then by the time they clear their current backlog and start planning new content, this idea might already be on their radar as something the community wants.

Hey everyone, I'm back with an update on the alternative Mori idea! I've been discussing it on Reddit, TikTok, and with my friends — a lot of people really liked it.
Here's a new thought: what if we could get a special version of the Ebony Mori (let's call it "Bloody" or "Elite" Mori) for, say, Prestige 100 on a killer? And it wouldn't just change the animation — it would leave a gruesome pool of blood or bloody trails on the map! This would add not just customization, but also so much atmosphere.
What do you think about this creepy and stylish addition? 🔥
