The Only True Solution
The only solution to camping, tunneling and slugging is as follows:
- Acknowledge that these are terms that were made up by game-scrubs.
- Accept that the killer is trying to kill you and is under a strict time constraint.
- Abandon the idea that the other player in a PvP game should not try to defeat you.

Just to be abundantly transparent, you have made:
- 6 posts arguing that endurance should be toned down
- 1 post aruging that, quote, "Players should not be able to complete generators so quickly that there is no contest."Why is it acceptable for killers to optimize for their win con, but not survivors?

In that case, the efficiency penalty for multiple survivors on a single generator should be removed. Since apparently it's completely fine for killers to optimise their win conditions at the expense of survivor experience, the same should surely apply to survivors win conditions.

What I don't understand is the desire to penalize one side so severely, but also the entitlement that they have to be player characters and not NPCs. I really think the ideal game for a lot of players would just be PVE but apparently not.

Eh, there's a case to be made that tunneling/camping is lame and isn't fun at all.
But you also have to accept that killer can't reliably micromanage 4 survivors unless you pick a top tier or they don't run meta as well. Both can be true.1 -
That isn't a solution, that is to continue with the status quo.

Just because the community created these terms that does not make the actions and circumstances they are associated with not real. Acknowledging that the terms were coined by the community and not the developers does not change or add anything.

Because the killer is under a ridiculously strict time constraint. You have about 2:30 from the start of a match to start a chain of events effective enough to stop experienced survivors from escaping. Ignoring the time constraint and roadblocking the killer from snowballing via an overabundance of endurance features is not fair if you actually consider the reality of high-level play.
Many survivors are currently escaping trials not because they were good at looping, counter-play or macro-management, but simply because too many of the killers hits just didn't count.
