Is it just me or does the game look a lot brighter and clearer when you’re on the hook?
I’ve noticed this recently and it seems my game looks way better when i’m on the hook as opposed to being off the hook. Wondering if this is happening to anyone else before i report it as a bug. I’m not sure if my screenshots look the same as in game but if you are experiencing this as well please share in the comments.

They just dont want you to miss any action while you are getting your front row seat LOL.

you might be hooked but its not all doom and gloom, there is light over that fog

Does it do this while you are on hook, even when there isn't a light source (i.e. lantern) on the screen?

yes. every time i’m on hook no matter what map, light source or lantern there is my game always seems brighter. i have no idea why

It looks the same to me. Perhaps it's just an illusion caused by the camera being higher off the ground when you're hooked?

Maybe cause of the higher PoV since you are being held up above the ground?

This bug has been in the game for months, I think since the Orela chapter.
It is especially noticable on Eyrie maps.

They again, I have very bad eyesight.
