Survivors - How We Feeling About Krasue?
I've personally only faced her twice, so my first impression is incomplete. My first match I never even saw her until the end of the match when me and my friend helped the Nea escape - and my second match… Well, that went poorly. Not only was I tunneled out, but I started lagging towards the end, which wasn't convenient.
I don't think she's that difficult to face, but obviously it's day one so we don't have too many, if any, players who've mastered her. I can see where she could be overbearing depending on who is playing her, but she feels pretty balanced right now. I don't own her (I'm never giving BHVR any more of my money thanks to them basically confirming they don't care about Survivors) so I don't know how she feels to play, but in terms of playing against, she feels balanced.
EDIT: I've now faced her a few more times and… Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous. I'm not having the worst time I've had against a Killer cough Kaneki cough But I have noticed she seems capable of hitting through walls. Also, her recovery time after hitting in head form is far too short. Other than that, it's not the worst it could be considering BHVR's track record of screwing over Survivors with horrible updates and OP Killers. At the very least, I've gotten better at looping thanks to this. Now, the new Michael buffs? Jesus, he's as fast as Krasue's head form, and while I won that match, it was not fun, let me tell you. MF would not leave me alone.

Played about 8 matches today against her. I feel completely miserable. Didnt escape not even once. Didnt last more than a few seconds in chase, same with all my teammates. Every match I had at least a one dc.
This is a ghoul 2.0, and she might be hated even more than ghoul in a few days/weeks.33 -
Ghoul is still massively overtuned, somehow they overtune the next killer even more.
I have a suspicion they have fired their balance team and are now prompting a chatbot to write their killer changes for them. The only way they thought this could be okay is if like, they saw how awful the tunneling/slugging changes affected kill rates during the PTB, jumped to huge conclusions, asked the bot what could be done and had it pitch serious balogna to them. No human wrote those changes.26 -
She is Nurse levels of busted and Ghoul levels of easy mode. Feels awful to play against.
Its genuinely baffling that she received so many buffs from PTB to Live. She was already strong on the test server.

Projectile has no counterplay and her chase is very oppressive. She's basically like OG chucky but better because she is faster overall and has no cooldown on her attack. It's ghoul release levels of devastation.
Yeah… it's hard not to feel anything but numb as a survivor anymore.19 -
Hens already put out a full video detailing how broken she is. If you haven't played against her yet then it does a good job of explaining exactly what's wrong with her.

Seems pretty strong, although it's always hard to tell if the killer itself is strong, or they just had four slowdowns (they all did). Didn't seem all that fun to play against, regardless of strength. The fact that she can close the space down so easily just seemed really unfair. But maybe I'm just missing something.
But the real issue is the annoying amplifier hum in the lobby. I'm convinced this is some sort of Havana syndrome-style psyop to demoralise survivors and influence kill rates.

she is extremely busted. She can instantly m1 after hitting you with infection. Her vault effectively negates most loops. Her head form(?) has no downside, and is 4.8 speed. Her map traversal power (idk what it’s called) is extremely fast and hard to play against. She can curve and slide against most loops. The mushrooms do nothing, and now there’s less of them(4 instead of 6). She can instantly vault out of her mobility power and follow up with a her whip attack. If youre infected, it’s basically ggs. Survivors dont lose infection when unhooked, for some reason.
She is a great tunneler. All the worst aspects of bhvr’s poor design decisions bundled into one killer, basically.

Ghoul 2.0. Those devs simply never learn, never improve, never understand.
15 -
An even less balanced version of Ghoul wasn't on my wish list for this chapter but here we are.
12 -
how is ghoul overtuned? He has no anti loop just mobility.
-25 -
bit op with the no cooldown imo. but its another speed killer primed for tunneling, they can easily leave the hook area, quickly return and tunnel. the main issue i have is so many people seem to be dcing. my last match where no one dc or went next went pretty well though. 3 escape.

Wasn't he official consultant?
Something is wrong if consultant makes a video of a busted killer.

I understand scamper is a problem, but if you nerf it even more giving it more time, how can she catch up to survivors in loops with headform? No killer instinct, no way to break the palette. Power back to body Form to break it and waste time? Just wondering what your suggestions are 😊 cause im not really sure.
Maybe if they gave her the option to break it in headform it would be ok?

I still can’t believe all of this was implemented by accident (the killer being released this strong after that amount of PTB feedback).
I give the devs more credit than that… at least I hope so.It’s probably a marketing play again. They see the numbers: even a non-licensed chapter and new skins sell.
And to be honest: if the target audience bites, I’d do the same.6 -
Having only played as her she definitely seems a little overtuned. Maybe give it a few more days for people to figure out counterplay, but from where I stand, seems like there's very little.

Yeah when people have been practicing now I've feel completely useless in chase. There is ZERO Fkg counterplay to this character, this is absolutely straight up disgusting. Literally the ONLY counter to her is stealth. And it seems like she's the perfect camper/tunneller also with her kit... She can't vault in head form well she can just hit you trough it and pallets anyway if ur infected and it SPALSHES HUGE area like dodging or turning the tight corner does me nothing and I've been trying... Also feels like she has almost 0 cooldowns to her powers and her lunge is really weird and u CANT react to it, only what saves u for FEW SECONDS is DH and u gonna go down straight after anyway because she has no cooldowns so yeah well done BHVR making survivors life even more miserable 👍🏽

Honestly I wouldn’t be against making Krasue struggle more in loops, she already has plenty of mobility for catching up in dead zones and patrolling the map, having the weakness of needing to swap back to body form to deal with some loops would give her some extra counterplay she honestly is in serious need of

I'm genuinely getting completely brainblasted trying to understand how on earth they possibly thought not cleansing infection on unhook was a good idea.

I like eating mushrooms 🍄

Have a really good teammate who played her against me over and over in a custom match. It was rough.
After playing as and against her in pubs I think she is crazy good and probably S tier if not high A, only being held back by mobility.
Her infection shot has almost no cooldown/slowdown, so she can spam it and miss as much as she wants while being able to swing right after. The projectile itself is a skillshot, but the splatter after it hits a wall is so large in volume that it is very hard to dodge. This is the only real counterplay survivors have. Once you are infected she can immediately swap to head mode with very short cooldown and then you’re dead. Her head form has insane mobility, the lunge hits through solid objects, and it glides off collision like oni dash with a buffed turnrate from PTB. Anything less than shack pallet level of god pallet is unsafe as she can basically scamper then hit you with a lunge to damage. Not to mention mushrooms take so long to act that there is no real punishment for spamming your power and you never have to think about where you’re spawning mushrooms. And hooked survivors don’t lose the infection, so if she wants to tunnel you out you are never getting rid of that infection.
What little counterplay she has is basically shift+W and stealth to avoid infection for as long as possible, and you can have a non infected person bodyblock for someone if she’s in head mode. Dunno what they’re going to do with her, but I would like if they made the transition from head mode to normal mode faster and made it so damaging someone with head mode removes infection. That would at least allow a bit more interactivity in chase, with the infection being as easy as it currently is to activate and how hard it is to cleanse in chase.

It's okay, the developers will clearly nerf this overtuned killer within a week, like they did with Fog Vials or postponing the anti-tunnel changes while making Decisive Strike the only paid counter to tunneling, right? Their bias clearly won't leave this killer overtuned for months on end like Ghoul, right?
11 -
I hate her more than Ghoul…
10 -
me and my friends think shes worse than kaneki ngl
7 -
People really have a VERY generous idea of what S tiers means
Yall remember how you said that SpringTrap was OP ? one month later we all agreed he was an ok killer
Just play as her you will better understand her
We are not on the same level as the Ghoul
The only thing that needs a cooldown is her ability to immediatly M1 after she spat

I think this video illustrates the problem a lot:
Hens made a good breakdown of what is wrong with the killer, and what needs to be changed to make her fair to go against

It's such a bizarre update. These are solved problems or problems that are well documented, and they re-introduced them with this killer for some reason.
Pallet vaulting has been historically problematic with Chucky and Ghoul. Infection eventually had to be reset on hook with Wesker. Re-introducing solved problems is really bizarre to me.

probably one of the worst visual M1s in the entire game in head form and the changes made her waaaaay overtuned. otherwise great design.

- I've played 5K of DBD and I have a feeling there's something wrong with this killer. I didn't buy the DLC, so I haven't tried him as a killer, only as a survivor. He seems incredibly fast and difficult to understand (from a survivor's perspective). I've never had this feeling of misunderstanding with any killer. Kaneki (I didn't buy that DLC either) was (and still is) very strong, but I immediately understood his mechanics and how to deal with him... the new killer hasn't figured it out yet. But I think that's normal; I've only met the new girl about ten times. If anyone has any suggestions, they'd be greatly appreciated.🤣 My main problem is that she does one action (anything) and immediately after she can do whatever else she has in mind. then, its anti-loop dash is just amazing🤣

I logged on to get my weekly reward, took a peek at the new challenges (not a fan), and logged out. After seeing what people have to say about her, I'm not interested in playing until the hype dies down a bit. I'm likely not clearing the Rift anyway, so no reason to grind it out.
3 -
- I agree, for me he's worse than Kaneki. I was afraid to say it, but you and your friends gave me courage.🤣
3 -
She is what people THOUGHT ghoul was on release week which is very worrying
-2 -
Extremely oppressive. I have never been the greatest of loopers but I struggled to last long in a chase against her regardless of the map.
3 -
We already know the "counterplay"; having an uninfected surv take hits for infected survivors. That's it.
