The Problem With... A Couple of Things
So with the recent update of 9.2.0, there was a change made to the game that decreases the presence of "dead zones" by more evenly distributing the pallets throughout the map. There may be upsides to this for the survivor side of the game, however, this poses a problem amongst many for the killer side of the game. As someone who plays Survivor and Killer almost at a 50/50 split, and while I admit that I'm not that good at getting between loops as a survivor, I can comfortably say that the new distribution of pallets is quite troublesome. It creates a lack of areas that pose a higher risk where a killer would be able to get a down easier. If a killer wants to create a deadzone, they are basically required to conform to one style of play, locating an area they can efficiently choose to lock down and manually creating a pallet deadzone. Not only does this force a killer to give up basically four of the five gens they must protect if they want to keep the area they are in locked down, but there is a heavy chance that in higher MMR lobbies, the killer will even have trouble keeping that under wraps due to four man SWFs and very coordinated teams of survivors. With so many tools at their disposal, including direct counters to slugging, tunneling, and pretty much normal play in general, and perks that increase the already suppressive gen-speeds, it makes playing the killer feel more like being the victim at some points. I also find it quite alarming that most requests from players that benefit the survivor side of the game are much quicker to be assimilated than requests from players that benefit the killer side. The community has been divided to a point where whoever cries louder gets what they want most if not all the time, and given that for every 1 killer, there's 4 survivors, I feel that the odds lie mainly in the hands of a majority that could make the game fall into a state that won't be desirable for either side. This post isn't necessarily about the negatives of the new pallet spread, but it's more about the path the game as a whole is going down. If the community behind DBD stays divided, the game will split and no longer be the experience it was meant to be. I suggest that instead of listening to one side on the matter of any subject, take input from both sides and work to make a compromise that helps both sides have an enjoyable time in the game. It will prevent the same perks being used over and over, prevent the same killers being used every match, and bring more diversity and overall enjoyment to the scene of DBD.

yeah I’m sorry I can’t agree with you on this loading into a map and having 8-10 pallets between a team was stupid pallets have been made weaker to compensate if you can’t get a tag at a majority of these pallets with bl you’re either losing every 50 or it’s a skill issue
Personally I think it’s made the survivor role a lot more enjoyable because you don’t load into a map and insta lose because it’s rotten fields or haddonfield or swamp
Dead zones were meant to be created not the map start with them also you shouldn’t be able to kick one or two pallets to make one whole part of the map a deadzone either
So in my opinion maps have never been healthier apart from badham Gideon and goj them maps need nuking they also made certain maps smaller too
They made the most survivor sided patch of the last few years turned it into the most killer favoured release with the Krause OTR gutting etc like no side has cried and won the devs listen to both sides it’s not a us vs them battle lol
Another topic I wanna mention stop bringing m1 killers into an argument like way over half the killer roster doesn’t have some form of mobility or anti loop in their kit m1 killers are a out of date thing of the past that don’t get made anymore so why are we balancing a game around trapper when nurse blight kaneki billy and drac etc exist
Killers are only getting stronger and continue to get stronger with buffs and new releases this change was way overdue
