Survivors and killer mains lets hear your thoughts. Mine is backwater swamp. Is it just me or does that map have fewer pallets?

Mine are just all the swamp maps. I just hate them all to be honest.

CURSE YOU ASLYUM
I WILL NEVER FORGET WHAT HAPPENED THERE

That new version of the Artist map. I keep forgetting the name. Genuinely the most boring map in the entire game. An instant loss against most Killers.

Me after jumping on the game and getting Dead Sands, Backwater Swamp, Forgotten Ruins, and Fallen Refuge back to back.

Awful. 😭😭
At least now that we've lost faith in the "health" part, it'll be fun to see what happens next.

As killer, the swamp maps. When i played survivor i always hated Lerys

The Swamp maps. And Hawkins.

- The "Dungeons & Dragons" map. From an aesthetic standpoint, I think it's the most beautiful in the game, but from a gameplay standpoint, it's the worst ever. With the latest update (Devs added some pallets to the upper level), it's improved, but it's still a structurally atrocious map. If a killer decides to never go into the dungeon and only guards the upper floor (where 4 generators always appear)... the game is over.

I'm SO excited for the MMR rework considering how everything gets better and better! Can't wait to have a fresh install as my teammate against a 20k killer with a 95% KR.

My fav map for killer is RPD both W/E, my least fav is any Autohaven map and my second for most hated is Hawkins lab
My fav survivor map is the swamp maps main is strong or badham preschool it feels big and has a lot of pallets, most hated for survivor Hawkins lab I just hate Hawkins

Forgotten Ruins

Lampkin Lane. A map that small has no place in this game - it gives an unfair advantage to the Killers, who don't need anymore advantages than BHVR already gives them. It's a BS map that either needs to be removed or reworked to be bigger so that it's actually fair.

Alright, can't choose one. Here are mine:
- New haddonfield - I loved the old one
- New coldwind maps - I loved the old one for the dark vibes
- Forgotten ruins
- Greenville map - The Walking Dead variant
Honouruble mention:
- RPD when I play dredge - this one doesn't have good lockers!
2 -
Nostromo.
Everytime I hear that submarine sound while spawning I could just puke.
3 -
Lampkin needs its 5th rework.
Swamp with more Pallets makes it better for Surv, but yeah, not a very friendly killer map, especially Grim Pantry's main being one of the worst for a good chunk of the killer cast.

Oh man… I could give a list of maps I hate but if I have to chose only one it gona be swamp but entire realm.
Visualy and gameplaywise outdated, extreamly buggy, worst hitboxes in entire game, sometimes it has tons of godpalets and sometimes not a single render "and no this did not make map balanced".
I wish I could just turn off this mess because I never had a single good game there.0 -
That map is both bad on survivor and m1 with weak or no antiloop because all loops are very close togeather and most of them is hard to mindgame eith tall killers. Bozh eries are bad and cursed, only thing artist dlc gave us was artist with her good perks but that map is worst.

any with corn…
hate those things with a passion…

the temple of purgation is my least favorite map when playing as survivor. yes, the shack side of the map is relatively strong but the other side of the map is just 90% dead zone.
and my least favorite for killer is usually blood lodge. its probably the worst map for m1 killers or killers that lack a strong anti-loop.

As Killer (and Survivor, tbh) I hate all the corn maps. As bright as they are, I still can't see anything on these maps. All those shades of yellow, red and orange blend together and if a Survivor runs into the corn they just disappear on me.
As Survivor I hate Haddonfield the most (which is sad for me because I love Halloween). The map is the size of a postage stamp with not many safe gens to work on. I haven't played on it since the latest update though, so maybe it's improved a bit.

By far Hawkins on killers, literally anti-gameplay map for 70% of killers. Lery's is close one to this.
Midwich on killers without great mobility. You literally can't control this map with them.
RPD I hate on both sides. Forgotten Ruins as well. Gideon is also here, you either demolish or get demolished here, depends on killer.
Only on survivors I don't like Pale Rose.1 -
may I ask why you dislike rpd? I would say it’s pretty balanced for both sides.

if im playing unknown its nostro or toba. If im playing survivor its haddonfield.

Can we even call it a roadmap at this point?
Half the stuff on there never happens lol
More like Road Hopes and Dreams

this gave me a chuckle thanks.

i hate The Underground Complex🤮
everytime i get this map as killer I dc. in any killer i play.
Something about this map. Its either an easy 4k or i cant get a single down until there 2 generators left to complete.0 -
The only map, I hate being here no matter side I’m playing

Hard to pick just one to be honest. We have a lot of poorly designed maps.
I think I’ll probably go with Hawkins though. I’ve hated that map ever since it came out as both roles.

I will answer to this just with this screenshot, if you don't mind. It has pretty much all I want to say about this map.

I think the portals are pretty interesting.

Forgotten Ruins, Haddonfield, and Hawkins. All of them are terrible.

After being thrown into it multiple times today I realized I forgot to add Nostromo to my list.

Groaning storehouse. Genuinely horrible.

COLDWIND, JUST COLDWIND. My saltiest most tilted losses are always getting t bagged while watching the exit on coldwind. I have like a permanent vendetta if you were a sore winner or a sore loser on coldwind. Like no other map pisses me off like this except specifically coldwind. Like even super strong main buildings aren't as irritating as not seeing anything through the corn fields and then getting dragged in end game chat because I suck for not being able to see.

Forgotten Ruins.
Don't think I need to explain why1 -
I love RPD just for aesthetics alone, but man is it terrible in 2v8. Too easy for the Killers to patrol the main hall and force the trial to stall.
I feel like this could be a Boulevard Of Broken Dreams parody. 😝

Years ago when this game had some amount of atmosphere I would have said Ironworks of Misery. Now, despite there being obvious differences between all the maps they somehow all feel the same/boring?
1 -
Surprised I haven't seen more people say Toba Landing and Nostromo. They both look great, but playing on them is horrible.

Borgo maps.

every map, iused to love some maps, but now they’re so small that killers can cancel a chase to go back to the hook instantly and tunnel very easily.
1 -
Haddonfield by far, on both sides.
The map is minuscule, even with the extra pallets it feels like there's nothing to use after 2 or 3 chases as Survivor. There's also no in-between for trials, it's either a complete stomp if the first chase is long (since there's like 10-15 seconds of travel between each gens so they go faster than on most maps if the Survivors do gens) or an utter snowball if the Killer manages to get an early hook due to how hard it is to unhook safely on this map (in SoloQ at least).
As Killer, it's not even that the map is hard to play on, it's that it's so small and there's so little LOS blockers that hooking a Survivor in the street always makes me feel as if I'm proxy-camping even if I don't want to because it's basically impossible to not see an unhook coming unless I chase someone in one of the houses (it's also one of the most toxic-inducing endgame chat map in the game, since people tend to rage more, win or lose on either side, on this map).

The only maps I feel are blatantly unbalanced are Eyrie of Crows, Haddonfield, Forgotten Ruins, Badham and Garden of Hope. Everything else is mostly killer dependent.
I would say the Swamp maps are just terrible on both sides though.

Nothing makes me more depressed than loading into Toba

it seems like Haddonfield has always been a problem every time its changed its not for the best. Even now with the new pallets i still dont like playing on it.
