lol i just pack up my toolbox and mosey on to another gen the second they blow it. They brought the killer there, they can deal with it.

I always go for great skills checks, and occasionally I miss due to being a little rusty if I haven’t played in a few days. Server lag gets me a lot too.

yes i would, i mean survivors have almost every other abandon option you can think of so why not add an extra one?

i enjoy it very much, i play killer and survivor. are there aspects i dont like? sure, just like any game. And just like any other game, i find my own fun :)

I'd say if any player in the match misses a skillcheck, the match should be free to abandon. It's only fair, the game is pretty much over at that point.

I just quietly continue to do the gen. Now if it's a 2nd failed check I'm standing and looking at you for 5 seconds. 🕴️

Sometimes I do like 10 great ones in a row and i'm like "the heck is that ?"
There is so much inconsistancy
When I watch some streamers on YT, their skillchecks seem way slower than mine so it seems they have better odds to hit then

It could be because you're focusing so hard on everything around hitting the great (nerves, distractions, HUD info, TR, etc) that you don't get that sensory hyperfocus that often comes with singling out one thing. When you're watching someone else play, you don't really think about those things as much since they don't really matter to you directly, so your undivided attention is on their skill check. In game, you have a lot of other things running through your mind and trying to perceive other things, so it seems to "blur" a bit by comparison.
Try practicing focusing solely on the skill checks and see if it feels any different. Server lag and game FPS can always be variables, but you might find it helps a bit with the consistency. I almost miss OG ruin specifically because it made me realize how distracted I often was with just simple skill checks, and made me a lot better at getting greats more consistently.

I too try for greats most of the time. Though I have noticed a lot of variation in the timing. Sometimes it's like instantly when the button press is registered, and other times it lags a bit behind.
Inconsistent at best, and it is not affected by server lag for me.0 -

Getting up from the gen and giving them the stare achieves the same effect, I find.
Even better if me getting up results in the gen exploding as well.
