Casual players think this game is bad:
As the title says, only comp sweaty dbd players play this game and you're killing it by listening to it, there is a reason more people play during 2v8. I don't think that's a mystery. We need to stop listening to the comp players.

Im a casual player and I do not think the game is bad.

If you look at the massive differences between Competitive rulesets and how Public matches function then you'll very quickly see that they do not exclusively listen to comp players.
6 -
people play 2v8 because it actually resembles old dbd from 2 years ago the maps have a decent amount of pallets and windows now a day their 0 skill just free hit all around maps are barren loops are so small u get hit regardless of how good u play all in the name of casual killer mains crying it the casuals killing the game not the vets
6 -
That has nothing to do with it, they still listen to them, it's why the anti tunnel didnt go live. Hense how a killer like Krasue comes out and Dead Hard can't exist how it was before.
Also one two three four is badly designed and doesn't even work lol, and if it does its multiplacitive. I'm tired of bad survivor perks, same with the new killer hex perk-6 -
it's why the anti tunnel didnt go live
No, because it was obviously overtuned to basically anyone who reviewed it.
Hense how a killer like Krasue comes out
I don't think any reasonable comp player would've playtested Krasue and said "yeah this is totally fine". Most opinions have been that the killer is kind of busted, and that's not on "comp players", that's BHVR dropping the ball.
Dead Hard can't exist how it was before
Are you talking about DH for distance??? I think it should be blatantly obvious why that one was removed.

Imagine Survivor having S-Tier options for S-tier killers, unthinkable
-1 -
OP blames comp players for the game getting worse when in reality comp players' worries are only considered from the perspective of "you can turn this massively invasive system off in your isolated custom lobbies".
Most of the bad changes in recent years happened because casual survivors and killers had a skill issue they refused to address and devs catered to them :)
-2 -
No I'll find it comes to badly made killers and perks
Survivor gameplay hasn't changed at all LMAO0 -
No everyone hates the game, but I'm not really sure why to be honest. I think some people are naturally unbothered by most things.
I agree that the average player seems to and the only reason numbers get so high is because of the high turnover rate. The numbers stabilize, but we don't see how many players are leaving on a regular basis. Or even how many players, like many of us here, take very long breaks.

I play everyday and I'm far from sweaty. If your argument is that the upper MMR sweats and streamers are dictating the balance of the game then I agree but they're clearly not the only ones playing. That's the issue. A minority is pushing things in certain directions and everyone else is suffering for it.
But 2v8 doesn't prove anythjng. I wouldn't have touched the murder simulator that is survivor this time around if it wasn't for the BP bonus and play while you wait. Take those elements away and see how much people really want to play that mode.
5 -
You mean all my friends and all the casual players I watch on streaming are wrong? there is countless people who think this game is awful.
I really think if this game wants to be better it needs to listen to the casual general audience.0 -
Yeah I agree, it does need to listen to the casual audience. That's literally what I said. But you said the ONLY people playing it are sweaty comps, which is not true. They're a minority.

I apologise, you're a king, here is your crown
-2 -
What when it hits a non - s-tier killer?
2 -
Well that question is irrelevant so long as an S-tier exists, by removing it from one side, you create a one sided game.
So until S-tiers are dealt with, balance isn't in the question-4 -
Thanks babe 🥰
-1 -
We need to stop listening to DBD content creators that make echo chambers.
4 -
I agree with this too
3 -
obviously you only care about badly made killers and perks.
if you played both sides enough, you'd have noticed that it goes both ways and neither side gets their experience really improved, it only gets worse because they keep catering to bad players :)
-1 -
I do play both sides, I just don't care for badly designed killers like Ghoul and Krasue. Also how Nurse and Blight havnt been nerfed enough Or rather reworked into a healthy place for everyone
this is obvious from Blight and Nurse being exempt from the Anti tunnel changes LMAO
they are aware, just not willing to make changes, yet.-3 -
Yes its more in old DBD fasion like you said big maps, not many complicated perks and addons on top few killers, they are stronger now (some of them like wesker, wraith or spirit but slinger, trapper, nemesis and ghostface are weak and very little buffed) which is kinda ok because the chaotic nature is what keeps this mode interesting and more fun overall than classic 1v4 but its not like DBD 2 years ago but more like the one around 2017-2020 one for me the classic more chaotic, simple yet fun.
barren loops are so small u get hit regardless of how good u play all in the name of casual killer mains crying it the casuals killing the game not the vetsThe loops are in 1v4 weaker for varius reasons such as the current fast phased state of the game compare to the old hide and seek then chase oriented gameplay now its more survivors rush gens asap and killers trying to get kills asap, but dont get me wrong but if you loop good you will dont get hit on loops its just more killers now with more perks and loops are weaker because of the fast phased style of the game if they were strong as in 2017 or less like 2020 game would be mostly survivor sided on average exept s-tier killers or high a-tiers because back then as m1 killer you didnt get rushed that hard like now even loops were safer, survivor meta perks were stronger like dead hard or ds and gen time was shorte not 90 but 60,70 seconds and survivors didnt rush them like their grandmas life depend on it.

Its maybe simple why the s-tier werent nerfed, nurse needs mostly rework and for bhvr she isnt that problem, she has not highest kill rate and isnt the one survivors complain the most about. Other facts for nurse are game isnt pay to win because everybody has strongest killer for free after getting the game, she has some skill requirement on avarage bigger than other strong killers.
Blight had very little nerfs even the fact he is in the game like from 2021 or 2022 which is long and how long he had hug tech and overpowered addons, they remowed them which werre his biggest nerfs overall and where he is now ……… still s-tier and second strongest killer in the game. He is golden child of DBD something killers like skullmerchant, trapper, ghostface or poor toy chucky can only dream about plus the fact he is very liked in the comunity by both killers and survivors which is the biggest reason why he wasnt touched for so long.

She isn't complained about because survivors are numb to her coz they ignore her lol

What do you mean “only comp sweaty DbD players play this game”? So everyone here who plays the game is a “comp sweaty player”? Sure doesn’t seem like it to me. Please tell us where you got the stats to show that the % of comp players is 100% and 0% for causal players.

- I don’t think they listen comp players either. Otherwise game looked completely different

Coz my friends wont play this game even when drunk, even popular streamers wont. Just ask anyone who plays any other horror game, they just sideeye this game like "yikes" when they are asked.
And the best bit, the players who play this game don't even play horror or watch horror anymore, it's just "DBD" players for the most part. At least from who I talk to.-4 -
What horror muliplayer is currently a genuine competitor to this game? Phasmophobia? Hunt: Showdown? Dying Light 2? None are even close to DbDs numbers.

This game needs competition, just other games that try fall inthe license chokehold of being stuck under 1 license. It has nothing to do with DBD, VHS also had the issue of being stuck with teenagers but that was the least of its concerns.
No Assym games ever thinks "what if we just made a game where we can add licenses into it after the fact and support it long time."
Otherwise your point I'd totally agree with. This game NEEDS competition.0
