At least some little hope, but I don't like this rework in general. Feels off the character and makes him play worse.

Yeah, they could have given Slaughtering Strike to a brand new character or maybe adapt it to Sadako or something. Myers rework should have taken a very different direction.

Myers is why I have no faith in what they will do to Skull Merchant.

The Skull Merchant previews were just a sign of what is to come. Every killer will have some sort of dash or projectile attack. On top of that they even straight up said in those previews that they didn't care what Skull Merchant players want.
Myers is straight up being redesigned for people who didn't play him before and likely have no reason to play him now, because he's just worse than other dash killers.

I don't feel like Slaughtering Strike is ever going to feel better to use than a normal lunge…at which point why don't they just add a pallet break effect on Evil Incarnate lunges and call it a day, make it take power gauge if they really feel it's necessary, which I just don't see it since Oni exists…but it would be nice if it was at least usable on controller.
