Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

I’m not saying stop playing but…

stop paying them. Use your shards if you like but not another dollar until they actually do something that benefits survivor quality of life.

Dangling QoL and then pulling it back just so Otz can get his 50 kills in a row the FIRST week the new killer is released while slugging and tunneling the whole way.

There’s a problem - speak with your wallets.

I agree with the sentiment but blaming Otz for Krasue is a strange take.

I'm only buying skins and original chapters with shards. With the latest controversial use of gen AI I prefer to be careful.

I'll still buy chapters and cosmetics if I like them. The problem is that I'm liking less and less. Felix's suit in the last Rift had potential but I wasn't spending 10 bucks for it. I only buy male Survivors for the most part, so there's a lot of money I'm not spending there either.

I agree with it all. I did read where OTZ stopped streaming DBD and his views went way down. The fact of the matter the Devs need to start seeing without the player base there will not be a game to stream. The streamers need to recheck their egos and deal with any changes the Devs put forth the health of the game. Most players don’t stream for a living and that’s just that. Streamers can be replaced. I actually watched Demi just because he’s funny but I don’t agree with some things he does but he’s extremely critical of the devs.

A number of DBD streamers I watch have said the same. Theyve tried to go variety streaming but their views drop. The end result is that we have a bunch of influential but burned out streamers forcing themselves to play the game because they've got bills to pay.

The tunnel and slugging reduction update was NOT pure QoL. It was QoL for new/bad survivors and a huge buff to experienced ones at the cost of weaker killers being absolute gutter tier because of them while not even majorly affecting high tiers.

It wasn't even an argument of "well they can buff weaker killers" no they could not. They then buff said weaker killers to ALSO be super obnoxious to play against then what.

Literally no one is disagreeing with the new killer being problematic, but you make it sound like this is some one sided problem. Almost the entire killer roster is unplayable because they decided to massively increase the pallet density of more than 60% of the maps in the entire game, some of which were already extremely unfair to killer (Asylum, Blood Lodge, etc).

You act as if killer is easier than ever and as if killer hasn't been getting random perk nerfs nonstop the last year. They literally stepped back on 10% haste unbound and moved it to 7%. It was STILL a bad perk at 10% but it was fun and niche. Monitor and Abuse just lost the entire useful part of it with reducing already small terror radiuses by 8m. Dead Man's Switch took a stray for some reason despite having been the last decent consistent gen perk.

What are you even talking about with rendering every survivor perk, vaulting, pallets and gens worthless? They literally just giga buffed pallet spawns on most maps, vaulting hasn't been changed for a long time and the last one was a buff (1 second medium vaults down to 0.9 seconds iirc). Additionally all of the strongest survivor perks have been completely untouched for years. Deliverance, Sprint Burst/Lithe, WoO, Resilience. They've even buffed problematic perks like Built to Last to now be extremely time efficient and vigil exhaustion recovery has been an insane meta with 22 second sprint burst recovery. Botany got it's downside removed so now you can just self heal in 16 seconds like it's 2020 all over again.

I could go on for hours but I seriously don't understand where this whole "BHVR HATES SURVIVORS AND ALWAYS CATER TO KILLERS" mentality when all logic would point the other way around unless you play a small roster of killers (Nurse, Blight and now Krasue); which is no different than SWF getting to be the oppressive power role when they play on comms. Most people don't play the S-tier killers. According to NightLight's stats less than a fifth are playing Blight, Krasue and Nurse combined. Which is to say, most of the killer player is miserable too, just like the solo queue playerbase.
