No exposed icon for myers makes the game unplayable for deaf people

I am deaf and find that the rework for myers made him unplayable to go against. I have no way of knowing when I will be insta downed and can’t last longer than 5 seconds in chase with him. I have played this game for years and I love going against myers but I find that i’m a disadvantage for my team now and think that they’d be better off with a bot.

The Exposed icon doesn't appear because Tier 3 doesn't expose you anymore.

While Michael is in tier 3 his knife glows white & he gains the "Slaughtering Strike" ability.

Slaughtering Strike will put you in the dying state if it hits you.

    White knife = Exposed

Giving it a different name doesn't change the fact that you are indeed 'exposed' because you can be insta-downed. Going from an easily recognisable icon on the side of the screen to having to having to try and check midchase if the killers weapon is glowing is utter nonsense and making the game less user friendly, on top of being a huge accessibility issue for deaf and HOH survivor players.

I mean fair point, but isnt this the same problem with the PIG or Ghostface?
Isn't a Bubba with Stealth Perks then also equally unplayable for you?

The solution is ofc to add a swirl effect to the Terror radius indicator every time a Killer gives a sound clue of their attack, right?

Checking behind you to see what the killer is doing is not utter nonsense dude, c'mon man, Michael is walking around with a handheld lighthouse, you can't miss it.

I will agree with you that DBD needs more accessibility settings. I still can't believe we don't have the skillcheck indicator that DBD Mobile utilized.

Y'know what else you can't miss?

The exposed icon on the side of the screen where all status effect icons go.

Slaughtering Strike isn't a status effect. It's the killer's power.

The power you can SEE from a mile away.

In general global sound cues should have an accessibility option to show a visual symbol.

Not just tiering up as myers, but other big examples that come to mind are Oni going rawr XD into power, Twins switching to and from Victor, Plague getting power.

Big things that everyone will easily hear.

It seems to me like in general the game is unplayable if you're deaf, because there's a lot of things you need to hear to play properly…
