Help team mates from being tunneled just for them to leave us to die at end game
Amount of games a person is being tunnelled an me and sometimes other people help them an they make it all the way to the end of the game they just open the gate an leave the rest of us is getting honestly so depressing. There seems to be very little appreciation from some players.

what do you expect for soloq players? to risk themselves for random people?

If you have a team mindset then find a team. I made a lot of my friends by adding people who were like me, wiling to die for strangers.

Exactly. And this is one reason why we often play together

If they are on death hook and injured I don't blame them for leaving. Or if killers about to hook someone and the gates are opened. Nobody wants to be blood wardened.

I know when I get helped, I try to make an effort to save. Even when injured ill try to find a med kit and heal up to make the play. But on the other hand too, if I make the attempt and fail, then the tunnel protector just died for nothing… sometimes they even wave me off. It's really weighing the options for best outcome

I can't blame them, actually. I've been in that position before, where I got tunneled to death hook, but the teammates managed to get the Killer off me. I really just wanted out of that match at that point, so I pushed the gens as hard as I could while the teammates kept the Killer busy. I felt bad for leaving while someone was on hook, but I couldn't take the risk of being targeted again.

They don't usually do the gens sadly they usually hide in the corner till the rest of us do the gens then they leave

I wish I was the pro MLG gamer who could swing in, save everyone, and dance my way out the exit gate. But I'm not. I'm injured and at death hook. There's nothing I can do.

Basekit Kindred would help with this. Going for that rescue can easily snowball into a 4k, so it's objectively the correct play (in many cases) to just leave.
If you have 3 healthy survivors mounting a coordinated rescue, and the exit isn't too far away, it can be possible, but it's not like they forgot to turn the light off when they left a room… it requires effort, timing, and luck.
