I am tired and I am taking break from DbD
I know nobody cares but I would like to express my frustraition with DbD for the past months and I think the last patch was the final nail in the coffin for me to "yep, lets just stop paying attention to this game for a while."
- Walking Dead chapter was rushed, broken and just bad update that break the game in so many ways and took many weeks to somewhat fix it. I don't belive a single person telling me they tested that patch, nope. Bugs, bugs, broken stuff, broken stuff, broken new perk, broken new character (no voice lines, bugged voice lines).
- Sinnester Grace chapter brings one of the most broken killer in the game, we had PTB, people and even devs THEMSELFS think this killer is S tier (they put her among the other S tier killers when anti-tunnel changes were tested) and what do they do? They giga buff the hell out of her and to nobody suprise she was and still is overpowered and will be for many weeks now.
- Shape rework is awfull, not fitting to character and just unfun and they made him worse somehow. Dash is bad, too slow, clunky, too many cooldowns, etc. Sad to see such icon go.
- "Oh we will focus on more quality of live updates!" video says from devs few month(s) back. Nope, I don't see it here at all looking at the current state of game.
- And now hotfix 2 arrives… and what do we get?
- Rift for 4 months that has 34 uniqued PAID TIERS? excuse me? is this some kind of joke? You think we would not notice? What happend to Rifts like Dracula, that was goated S tier rift they even gave you ultra-rare skins that had unique voice lines, etc. Full of free stuff too, even recolors for free are something you know.
- I have absolute no desire to complete this Rift and I don't care. Oh no I will miss like what… 6 skins? for doing the 80 tier pass and have to pay for it ass well to get like 1/3 of stuff then before Rifts? There is nothing exciting here, it sucks. And we have to wait 4 MONTHS? Next year for maybe mayyybeee a okay rift? maybe?
- The Dredge skin… in-game blocks like 1/3 of your screen. Nobody tested this. Nobody cared. What a joke.
The last 4 months of DbD were terrible and devs didn't change and I am tired. I am tired to care. I love this game and I care about it so much, but I am tired. I am heartbroken, time to complete my backlog I quess, that will take a rly long time. Maybe I will check the game in few months if they really improved. It's sad and I lost nearly all hope.

Yeah, my playtime here has also come to a halt. It didn't matter if I played Killer or Survivor.. something was either broken or unplayable.
Play Survivor, get 3 idiots who can't do anything right. Play Killer, get 4 Survivors who stick on gens, know how to loop and play efficiently. It's draining.
On top of a mountain of bugs, issues and bad content.. I just don't really care what happens to this game anymore. I already got a few alternatives to play instead and if I play this game, I either play vs bots or with my SWF.

Understandable, good luck in your next game.

This is healthy. It's only a game, you don't need to play, anyone not having a good time should take a break (whether its for any particular reason or not). I just came back from a break and I am having fun again even if stuff is stacked against anyone having fun atm. You can still be involved in a community even if your playtime has gone down.
We all love this game and want it to improve, if its not, you don't need to torture yourself by trying to withstand it.

It's a pretty crappy time for the game, that's for sure. I usually do the challenges, but I don't care about any of them. I'd rather do something else than be stuck in a trial where I feel like an NPC. Aside from the large events, I'm only interested in getting my weekly reward.
