Can I Pretty Please Complain About Myers?

I haven't been super active on the forums like I once was, but I came back to ask if anyone else is feeling the same way as me?? Like every match I've had is a Myers and all my teammates feed him in .5 seconds. I also hide from him yet get punished for my team members giving him charge. I thought old Myers was tough to play, sure, but this is like… overkill imo. Any advice on countering him now?

    Predrop, prerun when you hear him, and pay attention to the million warning sounds he has.

    He has no means to catch up if you run the moment you hear his 40 meter Tier 3 TR.

    Its pretty easy to reach his new "T3", but this state is easy to loop. Basekits its only 40sec, he has a 6sec cooldown for his attack and he cant outplay most pallets. And he slows down when he activates it, so no tier up and insta hit is possible.

    Pair that with his base stats (big/easy to spot, no map mobility) and he is no big threat.

    I'm sorry but the general consensus is that Myers is weaker than before, and he will be buffed in the next patch.

    The problem you are having with your teammates being stalked isn't more of an issue with new myers, in fact they addressed it in a few ways. All survivors get a sound queue when he has reached 50% stalk progress. This also decays back to 50% if he doesn't continue stalking within 12 seconds. Survivors get another sound queue when he has reached 100% progress, at this point you can't go back to stalker mode, this means he will remain with a 24m terror radius until he activates it, when he does he has an activation cooldown + 40m terror radius. Slaughtering Strike atm is also just straight up weaker than an exposed effect.

    I guess I've just been playing against people who have adapted to his kit then, I keep seeing 3-4ks where they essentially stalk near hooks and then i see half my team go down. I also saw him break pallets with lunge and it scared the ######### out of me, I hadn't played a lot before the changes and it feels like a totally different character now. Then again, because I've been away from the game a while too, I'm probably not getting the best teammates and it's making my matches with him go waaaaaay faster than I'm used to lol. I did notice the new audio queues which are nice :D

    The girlbossing is required, for the record. If you don't, he'll reach through the screen and slap you in the face.

    Funny I got him few times and only one time he 3k but most times its 1 to 2 kills and all depends on map and survivors looping skills with gen efficiency. When I played him my highest kill number in matches were actualy when proxycamping because his power (slaughtering strike) is terrible as antiloop and in chase it gaves sirvivors more room ro reach loop or hug some bigger round object or predrop than other killer powers like chucky, billy and now even pig has better antiloop with her ambush than mayers has with his strike not to mention its only for 40 seconds which is like 1 down max two if survivors are greeding something and arent smart to run away plus he has now 40 meters terror radius which exept him and wesker should only have killers with strong powers and mobility such as blight, ghoul, krasue but why mayers has it when he has no mobility and strike has huge slowdowns, cant be used like old tier two 99 for fast down (same as now ghostface can 99 and then mark you when he is in reach so he gets fast down) and strike speed is slow and missing isnt something hard you will get another big slowdown and suffer 6 seconds cooldown idk for what.

    Mayers was always strong at securing kills and proxycamping same as bubba, he has more limited power but it has duration and if you feed him or your teammates (which is guarantee when you come to the hook) then he will use it but overall he isnt much stronger than his old version (if we dont count tombstone piece which was his only strongest thing in his arsenal) so he is just good at what he has been before rework and little bit in chase because of that pursuer mode basekit brutal strenght and strike ability to force down paletts and break them but weaker than bubba, stalking mode is only viable when the fov is blocked so you can sneak up on someone and then 95% of time you will use it for building stalk meter.
