Is this a bug?
I've just done a match where I got a 2k, and the person abandoned before I started the mori. Yet in the stats website, it shows them as having escaped.
Is this affecting my kill rate? Is it a bug? Does anyone know why this is showing like this?

Pretty sure abandoning counts as a draw, just like the hatch. For that particular survivor, that is.

Your kill rate is just a number. If you're having fun, it doesn't matter how many survivors you kill on average.

I mean sure but since I got the kill, it should show as a kill for me, right? It's extremely confusing why the final mori doesn't show up as a kill in the stats website. Just confirmed it shows like this for every match with a final mori. I guess what I'm saying is, it shouldn't be showing as an escape if I killed the character, bot or not, right?

That is extremely unhelpful and not what I'm asking.
@KayTwoAyy idk why it wouldn't quote your message but this is in response to you2 -
I'm not sure, I'm not even sure if kills count the same as sacrifices. I only know abandon counts as a draw/hatch for the survivor in the situation you mentioned.

We've never had confirmation, but my assumption has always been that it's intentional so that slugging isnt seen as a win condition

I thought that was supposed to have been chanegd in 8.7.2.

Maybe its a bug that came with the pallet density thing like how chests effected xeno/sadako/springtrap teleport spawns

That would seem counterintuitive for having a basekit final mori, no? like, they GAVE us that last mori so why shouldn't it count as part of a win?

I do know that kills count differently as sacrifices, at least for tome challenges and it seems like for adepts as well. I always do the 4 hooks for adepts because I can't be sure a final mori would count, and I feel like it doesn't.
