Sad excuses. Even if they werent able to work on recolors, they still could have managed to make the rewards worth it. There are more options to reward players than just recolors (i dont even think of this as a proper reward, its one of the most "cheap" things to do to begin with and most of them look totally awful). So why trashing the rift with just minor bloodpoints? There would have been at least one other "cheap" option to give skins to the players: iri shards. But BVHR still refuses til now to give out decent amounts as reards though there are already thousands of skins to buy and one or two full sets per rift wouldnt make any difference to them in giving them out for "free" or not having them sold at all.
Theyre still just trolling their community at every possible chance, and most people still let them being fooled. Its a shame.

They made a bunch of Rift recolors of the Stained Glass skins but for other outfits production was halted??
Couldn't atleast the shards in the free track be increased so we can buy an outfit from the store?

We’ve gotten so many apologies that have turned up not actually resulting in anything that at this point the apologies are soulless, this is just gonna happen again in 4 months when this sad excuse of a rift ends

The first thing I did after waking up on August 29th was buying the Walking Dead DLC to p3 both characters and make their adept ASAP and then I found out how bad the game was after the update.
Didn't spent a single dime since that day.

I recycled my auric cells from the last one because I know I'll finish it, but even with three characters I use I would not have paid money for this.

Its not just the lack of content in the rift but the quality of the content in the last few rifts thats really gone downhill too. All these years the game has had rifts ive never looked at the whole rift and went "there isnt even 1 thing i want from it..." yet this is now the 2nd time in the same year ive said that. (The last one atleast gave thalita tight booty pants).
I probably shouldve stopped buying stuff in this game ever since the castlevania chapter felt like such a suckerpunch with all the characters being cosplays. I doubt ill ever see shanoa as a legendary now

Guys, since we have confirmation this rift stays awful, I highly suggest you do not buy it unless you really like the skins.
(or if you already have the auric cells and the time needed to get to level 100)

I used to buy $15-$30 auric cells a fortnight, so never had to recycle. I stopped buying cosmetics a few months back so haven't needed to buy cells, so if I get this Rift Pass it will be recycled for sure.

It's really a shame that ever since the Castlevania Rift, it's just been a steady decline in Rift quality.
Especially with how much more grindy the Rift has become (dailies are much more important) the Rifts should increase in quality, not regress.
The Castlevania Rift was perfect;
Good-looking skins for base-game characters (Reaper Nurse is awesome).
Good spread of more "generic" skins in the free track, still decent looking though and recolors are still somewhat decent.
And finally, you are rewarded for finishing it with a truly worthy skin (True Form Dracula) for your time and money. An entirely new model AND Mori. Sure he's massive and easier to spot but look at it!
How did we go from this to now? Same price, barren free track, recolors early, best reward is the Community Contest skin that is not only pretty different from the original art (kinda just looks like Dredge accidentally went through a bunch of clothing lines and got tangled in them) but also covers half the screen. Dredge had a decent track record for skin until now. Sure the Rift is much longer, which means that it'll be easier to finish even for those with less time on their hands (I'm convinced that shutting up complaints was one of the motivators for making Rift longer without making rewards better) but it's too bad that it's just...not worth it.
