Anti-flashlight

Hello, I was thinking. Hear me out, I think you guys need to make an accessibility option for flashlights. I don't typically play killer but when I do and I don't run lightborn I end up having seizures because survivors are toxic sometimes and just flashlight after flashlight. I think there should be a way to replace the obnoxious brightness for a darker option. Like instead of the usual sun some of these flashlight users have, maybe my screen just turns black and gray. I just think it would improve the game for not only me but many others.

I honestly don't know why we haven't gotten that as an accessibility option, especially when it's effectively the standard for games like these to have them now. Even Rainbow Six Siege has an option to change flashbang effects to dark instead of bright white.

Your frustrations are felt by many across the community, but BHVR has been very bad about accessibility options in DBD historically. I don't know why, I don't agree with you, but I wouldn't hold out hope for any quick fixes, as valid as your suggestion is. Best solution I've heard is to try your best to look away when you get flashlight blinded.

See I know BHVR sucks at listening to their players. What game dev doesn't. HOWEVER, it is a potentially easy fix. They could implement something like I previously suggested OR even put a timer on flashlight uses after a blind. Kind of like how you can't spam the fog vials. Also I am not sure what you disagree with me on but that's ok, you are intitled to your own opinion.

I already mentioned it, but it's time for removing flashlight saves/flashbang saves as they are just extremely ez and unfun. If you get down and decide not to slug, you shouldn't be punished. Flashlight saves are outdated, same as hook grabs were. Time to remove them.

Yes well, you're the only person who thinks that flashlight saves and flashbangs should be removed from the game, no one else is asking for that.

With regards to OP, I completely agree that this kind of accessibility option should be available—it's the sort of thing that should have been available from the start. The lack of accessibility options overall in DBD is pretty egregious. I know recently some deaf/HOH players raised concerns about the recent changes to Michael Myers causing them issues as well.

It feels like, as with a lot of things, accessibility concerns are really not taken as seriously by the devs as they should be.

You have an option play lightborn just like Killers will say run DS and DH on all characters to prevent tunneling hint I think both are wrong stances
