Another event, another reason not to play
Why? Because you constantly make events with side objects that don’t facilitate a win for either side. People queue up for the event because it’s there, and then don’t actually do the objectives because they are a hindrance to actually winning (or farming altruism points in the case of 2v8). This isn’t anything new; you’ve been doing it for years, and it’s insanity because you never learn or improve.

Yeah this kinda event would have benefited more if the gens were removed and it was more like a capture the flag type of gamemode. Would have also been cool if the whole map was in the Void.

Well, look at how little bloodpoints killer (maybe even survivor) are getting for playing a game? Pretty pathetic low numbers.

The bloodpoint numbers being lowered for halloween scoring events is also very questionable.
I’ll interact with the event because it’s fun, but it’s hard to expect others to when it rarely is beneficial gameplay wise and I get nothing for doing it. I’d get more bloodpoints running BPS than the event offering, they should not be personal offerings.

I'd like to take it easy and engage with the event for fun, but the matches have been so rough that I feel like I have no time to do so, on both sides of the game. I only do what I have to for the quests.

These seem pretty good to me? Higher scoring combined with the dowsing rod is giving me decent BP. The survivors are getting normal 20k-30k, which is weird.
Edit: actually I guess they're getting low scores in my matches cause they're dying.

The BP payout for this event is trash as survivor. Everyone plays a offering and I come out with top survivor score and get 80K BP.
I'd do better playing regular mode with a friend burning BPS.
This is a super slap in the face.
It's already a 3+ year rehashed event with very minor changes.2 -
Just learned they gave away Iri Shards on Tuesday as a log-in reward, but I didn't boot up DbD until Wednesday so I didn't get them. BHVR didn't even release a calendar to let us know ahead of time when to log in. Another blotch on the event for me.
