Haven't played in a while, why are there so many pallets?
I counted 24 pallets on crotus asylum (just ones that were thrown btw), is there a bug with pallet distribution? If not what happened?

It’s from the latest ‘quality of life’ update.
Don’t know when we started referring to straight up realm wide buffs to one side quality of life, but here we are.
Basically be prepared to have an awful time unless you’re playing as one of the top couple of killers who can ignore some pallets.12 -
They were trying to address deadzones by spawning extra pallets. Worked out well for some maps but not so much others.

Helped probably on two-three maps that had huge deadzones. Made the rest almost unplayable for killers, unless you play five top-tier killers (Nurse, Blight, Dracula, Krasue, Ghoul)

The games always had a lot of pallets. A few more don't hurt. Just do better at mind gaming and winning chases.

Because it requires far less effort to just spam pallets everywhere than to actually properly balance maps.

Not saying it doesn't hurt the already weaker killers, but it's really not been impossible. Made me pick up Doctor again and I've rarely lost so far. A lot of the pallets are poop pallets anyways.

How is that rage bait? If you're getting pallets slammed in your face often thats a skill issue sorry to say. Just keep practicing and get better at chase. Don't get mad at the one telling the truth.

I play plenty of killer mostly hag, trapper or alien and even with the extra pallets it doesn't affect getting a 4k much. Compared to learning survivor killer takes little skill. I never even have to slug or tunnel either. Thats just overkill in an already simple role.
