All abandons now showing as escapes on stat tracker
It's already been discussed that abandons register as non-deaths for survivors, even if they're in the middle of the sacrifice/mori animation. Previously, on the official stat page, if more than one person abandoned a match, all would have the DC symbol except for one, who would have the escape symbol. The recent update to the page now has all abandons showing as escapes. Tell me how I get Merciless Killer yet all the survivors show as escapes. How does this make any sense? Did we all win?
The way abandons register has got to be changed. An abandon needs to be a loss because that's what it is. Until then, survivors have nothing more than vanity stats to make them feel better about thier matches, the only exception being those who don't DC or abandon.

Wow.

Average of 1.1 hook. You're probably having over 60% escape rate without DC LOL.
Well played, honestly :)

In the last 30 days, I’ve only abandoned matches at 4K slugs, which have been extremely rare, less than a dozen I'd say.
I believe Mandy mentioned that BHVR’s stats differ from those in the tracker, so their total escape numbers shouldn’t be “inflated” by abandons as you suggested, so no need to worry.

Unfortunately we don’t know what to believe because there has been zero transparency from BHVR about how their internal “official” stats work vs how the player trackers stats work. Why they would be using something different for their internal stats vs what shows up on the player tracker stats requires some logic that is beyond my comprehension 🤦♂️

They work by not accounting for abandons, they are losses.
As for the logic, only God knows. 😂

My solo queue stats over the past 30 days 😂😂😂

It's still bad. It makes people feel they're doing better than they are and is beyond disingenuous, regardless of how they register officially. If the stats are a flat-out lie for many, why have them?

Mandy might have said that, but its still bad that a tracker is different from their stats, which at best are loose criteria.
They NEED to make it so we also know our stats accurately. Otherwise it really isn't a tracker but a guestimator

Isn't it telling how the average escape rate by BHVR is 40-50% but everyone seems to have 60%+ or even absurdly high 80-90% with the stat tracker.

There's something both hilarious and sad about how Behavior can't even make a functioning stat tracker.
