"Hardened" - is it good in any build?
Has anyone found a use/build for this perk? Obviously, it could be good against Doctor or Infectious Fright, but those are rare scenarios. What I would love to know is whether this perk has any good use in regular matches?

It's kinda cumbersome to use, and like you mentioned, extremely limited in its use-case scenario.
Though I wonder if you can pair it up with Scene Partner for some stealthy aura-reads.1 -
I don't think that works, because Scene Partner needs you to scream to work/activate. I think Hardened basically cancels Scene Partner out completely. Same for Calm Spirit.

That's correct, Hardened being active will disable Scene Partner completely, Scene Partner has a prerequisite that you have to actually scream for it to work at all.
@Alen_Starkly One thing you can do with Hardened though is pair it with Dramaturgy, since it will replace the scream effect with seeing the killer's aura so you have a 3/4 chance of getting a positive effect. A build I like using sometimes is Dramaturgy, Finesse, Hardened, and Boon Illumination so you get Hardened active at the beginning of the match as fast as possible (Illumination satisfies the totem requirement and then also helps you find a chest to finish activating Hardened, then it helps you find a gen too). Finesse just goes well with Dramaturgy in general, but you could easily switch it for something else.

since ultimate weapon got nuked and doctor doesnt exist this perk is pretty garbage.

It's nice with Eyes of Belmont to see where the killer's moving after you get hit.

I remember that it worked with come and get me perk, so with this combo you can get a free aura reading on demand once perk unhook

Also thank you to everyone else for your inputs! I'll try using it with Come and Get Me, and Eyes of Belmont. I do think I tried it before with Scene Partner, and it didn't work. I'll have to double check.

Hardened doesn't work with Scene Partner, it completely cancels it out (and does not trigger the Hardened clause of 'instead of screaming, see aura').
