My lord is 2v8 just housing toxicity
In normal dbd it's rare I get a ggez maybe once every...seven? Months but my lord 2v8 I had a match where we did terrible as killer about 25% done on hooks by the time gens were done and boom two ggez at the end. I guess some survivors really find being toxic fun then? I don't see the point of it doesn't really discourage since I see as that survivor just doesn't escape often. Also because I hear Dale from King of Hill reading typing it to me.

Everytime i see ggez i say "you know what else is ez?"(Insert easy to make food name)

I've always considered saying "GG" first after your opponent just got crushed to be a little tone deaf and bad form… mostly because someone who just got done getting smashed and embaressed at every turn likely did not find that a "Good Game", and inserting it first can come across as patronising or taking the piss; so I understand where you're coming from...
However, the reality is, vast majority of players who say GG don't actually mean anything negative by it. I am console so don't have to deal with chat, which is a kind mercy upon me, but for your own mental, try to assume that anyone saying GG doesn't mean anything by it. If you're wrong, you beat them cause they didn't get in your head, and if you're right, then you haven't bitten the head off someone who doesn't deserve it.
Or you can go my route, and play on a platform with no chat, or just simply say nothing. I stopped saying GG, or anything at all really when I was on PC, because the drama isn't worth it 😅

Oh I don't mind a gg but I don't get the point of ggez. Your not being toxic...your just being [insert a word I can't think of]

BHVR should just get rid of endgame chat. It serves no purpose other than to give people a way to be toxic and hateful to each other.

I noticed way more toxicity since pallet density update even in normal queue and not like I am surprised. Back in the days, the stronger survivors were, more toxic they were to killer for no reason. Because, why not mocking your opponent, when you are almost invincible, right?
And now I find myself in this situation pretty often: entity knows why I picked low/mid tier killer, and every one emotes me / teabaging me from the start, standing near 6 connected pallets and tiles.
And it's normal queue, what should you except from 2v8, which is survivor sided to some ludicrous degree?
Not like I didn't see "gg ez" from killers, there are a lot of sore winners too, but I think it's almost the rule: the stronger survivors are – more toxic they are.3 -
In 2v8 I kinda just made an unspoken rule when playing killer. If a survivor decides to teabag me I'm going only after them if I find them so yeah I will tunnel though weird grey area where I still go after others but if I spot that teabagger they're my main priority and what's funny same teabagger still goes down quickly simple you wanna be toxic I'll be toxic back.

Some random man teabagged me aggressively multiple times, took hit in endurance when I was after his duo, and both of them basically tried do everything to ragebait me until was on death hook.
Ngl 8k that match was satisfying and when that person gave up and stand afk it was my first time I was satisfied over game that much.
They are cocky as soon as feel they can win. Sometimes it happens, sometimes no, but it’s funny when their vanity just dies as soon as they get down :₽

Honestly might just be unluck, my experience (and my girlfriends experience because we always played together) is that people in this mode are actually nicer than in 1vs4 normally. I'm actually surprised sometimes how little I get insulted haha xD

Maybe it is just bad luck but I also love seeing toxic people get screwed during the match because they played a little to risky

There is an option to close it but i guess people just dont know about it.

I started playing when Spirit's just introduced, and I got mocked in most of my matches back in the day… It was so painful that I actually had PTSD of it and stopped playing ANY PVP games for 3-4 years because of it.
Although things are much better now, but it's slowly getting back to the past with so many buffs to survivors.

Yep, I had close experience to yours, I played almost only survivors for first year just because killer felt impossible with gigatone of toxicity from survivors in every match for nothing.
Even now, so many years later, I still need to pull myself together a little before pressing "play as killer" button.Although things are much better now, but it's slowly getting back to the past with so many buffs to survivors.
Absolutely, I noticed that too.

Yeah nevermind, had a cheryl teabagging me. Well died legit 10 seconds later by my wesker haha xD

I think people know about it, but just because there’s an option to close it doesn’t mean people are going to do it, even if they should. It’s just way too tempting for people to be toxic to each other. Best to just not give people the option. There is literally no upside for having an endgame chat.

being wholesome, saying gg, contacting eachother to play more.
it does happen, its rare, but i dont think that would solve the toxicity issue as an whole.-1 -
I never use "ez" as its just something childish people use. I say "gg" most matches as long as I don't get tunneled out.

From my experience its a problem with survivor skill level. There are always exceptions but really good players are not as toxic.
If i lose at my best, i rarely encounter toxic behaviour. But if i lose bc i played badly (difficult map, not my main, just a bad day, etc.), people are more likely to be toxic.

Endgame chat just has to go

for me it seems every duo has to hump somebody they downed. the power for two people to be able to dominate any one person seems to get to these peoples heads. I never tbag at gates but these are the people I say it's justified to wait out the timer and force them to see you off.
I'm just trying to uplift our spirits with the most terrible looking Ace combo with the mad hat, bright pink sweater and the fisherman boots :(

Now I'll say I have had my toxic moments but I only do it when the other is being toxic. A survivor wants to tbag? Cool I hump when your downed because hey you wanted to be cocky and look how that turned out.

This is why I opt for ggwp every match regardless of outcome.
Doesn't fix people attempting to insult me but I can't fix behavior, only control my own.

Toxicity is rampant in this game. In normal modes and others. Whether you're playing as a survivor or a killer. The community is rotten.

i dont consider ggez toxic… its saying it was a good game and it was easy. if it was an easy game and it was good then it would be honest feedback of the match wouldnt it?

tunneling in 2vs8 trash game as ever

how is typing ggez toxic. lmao please get a grip guys.

"How is waterboarding torture when people are drowning?"
Sounds pretty stupid huh?
Ragebaiting and trolling are toxic aswell not the hyper toxic way but still toxic.
If it isn´t toxic to write ggez why going all the way? You could type ggwp same amount of letters and time typing it but has a better sound to it. Or are you trying to type ez because you could make the other side mad?

Well, 2v8 is quite survivor sided, so way more survivors escape and get on power trip.
Also so many resources around, so it's very easy for survivors to get chases they only dream about in 1v4.3 -
I say make it an option you can choose to opt into if you want to. I'd opt out, ideally with a nice big icon next to my name in the post game screen that shows clearly that I have chat disabled, so people that want to whine and gloat in chat can clearly see that their nonsense falls on deaf ears. Give me a little GG button I can press instead if I had fun in the match that everyone can see that I pressed and leave it at that, 90% of post game chats are either quiet or just gg anyway.

It's also not really an example of sportsmanship…
You write "ez/easy" to annoy your opponent. That kinda fits to "toxic" category in my opinion.1 -
The one that always get me are:
"Killer likes to return to hook/attack off hook" and then try to mass shame the killers for it.
Aside maybe seeing someone being unhooked, killer doesn't always know when a survivor is unhooked. They can't even see the 'hooks' in this mode. Especially when one killer attacks from the next. I was accused of this a few times for taking a chase, going back to gens after getting a hook, and then finding a survivor healing another in a corner with the gen kick aura. I have no idea if it's someone who was unhooked or got away from a hit, so of course I'm going for that. And when I play survivor, I know that 2v8 is already pretty survivor favored with gen speeds, amount of gens, pallets and if you're running the pocket SB you're pretty much golden in most 1v1 situations.0 -
The amount of survivors I see complaining (whether I’m killer or a fellow survivor) about being doubled teamed is insane. As though it’s somehow cheating for the killers to team up against one player.

Ive seen multiple annon killers say the exact same thing even in normal que.
on the flip side I've also seen an anon ghoul tell me in need to find rope because we did gens to fast so I prefer they go with ggez tbh 🤣1
