I would love it if they put the PTB on Xbox.

What are your thoughts?

    I think it'd be good but is that possible? (that's a genuine question) does xbox even have functionality for stuff like that?

    they could do it for PlayStation too but they won’t.

    As they currently roll out the PTB on Steam, nope.

    Their updates all require certification separately from Sony and Microsoft and Nintendo. That can take 3-5 days or more, and those for Switch have been a week beyond even that for a while now. Plus those certifications aren't free either.

    However, what may be possible is what Minecraft and DayZ do. They both have "experimental" versions on Xbox separate from their main games. Maybe that is an approach worth investigating, and I imagine something similar could be done for the PlayStations and Epic and Windows.

    As it is now those on Steam that can participate in the PTB only do so for a day or two mostly, and there's no matchmaking either. More inclusion means more eyeballs on the changes and much more trials to review. Depends on if they view it worth the resources to pursue.
