This is the issue with the game
I know I’m definitely not the first person to say this, and I won’t be the last, but this is one of the biggest issues in the game right now and it really kills the fun.
I’ve been playing since 2021 and have over 2.5k hours. Dracula isn’t a killer I play much, only 1.4 hours—but I still know what I’m doing as a killer.
I couldn’t see how many hours the survivors had, but judging by their perks (or lack of) , I’m guessing not many. I didn’t get a screenshot, but the Meg was super happy I let her out because she said she’d been struggling to get Meg’s Adept.
They ended up getting two gens done and I let the Meg escape.
And for the people who would say “just go easy,” I did. It just got to the point where I was ready to go next. I don’t even know how the David got such a low score because I didn’t tunnel him.
I understand why new people to the game will have matches like this and not want to continue. I hate it too because it really turns me off wanting to play too.

A few more games like that and those new players will find a different game to play. It shouldn't happen. It's not fun for either side.

Oh no, these poor, perkless, day-one babies.
I had a match like this with Trapper some months ago trying to do a Quest and they did so awful that I felt kinda sick. One poor guy went to second and I didn't know (pre visible hook states) so when I hooked him again and he died I was just like "...oh." I dead stopped mid-chase multiple times because they were just running in straight lines without looking behind them. At one point I was just standing in the middle of the map hearing screams and snapping traps feeling like a smurf.
But then I'll try a killer for the first time and get a 4man of p100s and get stomped. It's like always one extreme or the other.
