This is the best tutorial for the game I've ever seen.
He goes very in depth with a lot of different topics concerning both roles. Such as:
Terror radius reading
Looping
When to stealth, unhook, stay on gens
How to find gens for indoor and outdoor maps
How bloodlust works and different techs to manipulate it.
And way more. If Behavior had a tutorial like this I think it would be a huge benefit for new and experienced players.

We should have implemented something similar in the main game. Instead of coddling survivor-only players with repeated failed, pointless measures like anti-slugging and anti-tunneling, we should have provided a proper tutorial to improve their skills (especially for survivors on the North American server)

thanks a lot for this video

Absolutely, amount of players with 1000h+ who don't understand even basics of the game is insane.

This is a very good video!
Already saw things i never heard of. Also very good visual explainations.

Spirit advice to drop loud breathing and RPD gen location was unironically something I never heard of . But it was satisfying to realise I figured out almost everything before this video.
Labyrinth jungle gym and checkspotting still a mess for me tho…

- It's a great video, but it's not exactly designed for beginners. There's a lot of information, and if you're really just learning the basics, you might feel overwhelmed or not understand much.

yeah 47 minutes is a lot. Beginner video should be around 10 mins imo

It was certainly a good video, going in depth of how the game mechanics work.
A little long, and there is a lot of information to take in, but great knowledge nonetheless.0 -
Tutorials should definitely get an improvement.
Half the stuff it teaches you is either not enough or obsolete.

The funny part is I think most of these "Tips and Tricks" aren´t even known by the developers.
So it is questionable if its intended at all XD

The thing is, the vast majority of these coddled survivor-only players REFUSE to improve and learn. They simply want to remain in their state of mediocrity and have the killer players play the way they want and have the devs cater to their desires. DBD playerbase is quite peculiar, to say the least.
