The POV of a Killer Main with Killer Anxiety and How I was able over come it. (Rant)

I wanted admit that I do have Killer Anxiety and this me helping Identify What Killer Anxiety is and help players overcome it.

Even if its just some support to help who suffer from it.

Killer Anxiety is like fearing the worst in a Killer match. Such as being Made fun of behind the scenes of a match.

Being Bullied by 4 people or even posted on social media for being bullied for a hole match and getting harassed (which i was harassed on Social media on the game before).

Killer is 1 person going against 4 survivors and that is more pressuring. It feels like 4 people are laughing at you in ur room while ur playing.

I dont know if mentioning Stage Fright as a example of what its like for me at least.

I overcomed My Killer Anxiety but it was very hard for me. But when i started goofing around and making myself laugh it suppressed it and allowed me to play. But it never went away and i still suffer to this day becaus of my irl (High Functioning Autism) which makes it worse

. Its different for every person so maybe im not the only type of Killer Anxiety. Regardless it still exists and people with it should be supported and given a place where there not alone.

So if you or even someone else experienced Killer Anxiety or any kinda of Experience fill free to comment it.

I got over it (as much as you can, it's never 100% gone) by using Anonymous Mode. The only platform that doesn't have access to Anonymous Mode is Xbox.

My advice is to always have it on, even when playing Survivor if you are worried about being mocked or ending up in a YouTube video.

I have generalised anxiety disorder in real life, and have done my fair share of exposure therapy. When something makes me anxious I just ease myself into it anyway. It's never as bad as my mind tells me it is. So yeah, I don't do avoidance. If the worst thing that happens to me in a game is that someone repeatedly crouches up and down at me, life is good.

I legit started playing Houndmaster because the idea of having a dog companion helped with my anxiety. Shame she's the buggiest killer I've ever played.

I find its more about not worrying about failure. In survivor matches you go in expecting to lose, happy to escape. In killer matches you go in expecting to win, sad/mad to lose. So going into killer matches with a survivor mindset helps you to realise you are not supposed to win everytime even if you are good at the game. Go into killer matches expecting to lose, happy to win and itl be less frustrating. (I play both sides but my main killers are xeno/dracula/skull merchant).

The bullying can be ignored, entirely. Survivor tbagging at you, just go for the others. If they are all treating you poorly and you don't want to be a part of their "fun", just look at the skybox and wait for the next round, get up take a short break. Making fun of you in the chat? Can turn the end game chat off.

I experienced it, and when I tried getting used to playing that role, I realized I just don't enjoy it at all. Maybe that was another reason I felt bad.
