Dbd is just a grifting echo chamber online
every YouTube video that gets recommended to me is just nothing but CC shitting on BHVR because of survivor buffs
Even after this update reducing the pallets down to nothing and no safe loops there are still videos saying they favor survivor and every comment is them saying I quit cause of survivor bias
It’s a very bad echo chamber and sadly now we have to deal with god awful map design cause of these people doomposting that dbd would die if so happen survivors get help
Then the main CC say its the worst update yet were the ones screaming this would hurt dbd and be the worse update. I’m not saying don’t give criticism but don’t complain about a update being ######### when YOUR the reason why the devs pushed it back in the first place

That's why I only listen to comp dbd opinion. The rest is just skill issue like it or not

Admittedly there isn't much in the way of survivor content that focuses on game balance. They all tend to focus on completing made up challenges, or getting value out of different builds.
You might get some analysis when a patch drops, but that's about it.

maybe but it’s so fascinating how survivors get there pallets nerfed to nothingness and there’s a video saying “it’s fine survivors will cry till they get what they want”
Yet they ignore how this whole patch is empty cause every YT channel was just all killer mains crying and throwing a tantrum cause survivors were actually going to get help

Comp DBD is a perversion of the game, change my mind

The power of content creators is a plague on modern gaming.

I simultaneously could not care less what other members of my species think, but I'm also super interested in what other people think just to see if my own opinions align or not. I think that's fun.
I wish I had the motivation for the YouTube grift because I had the knack for the clickbait when I was 12. if I yell "Pinhead is the most fun and balanced killer for survivors!" people are gonna immediately drop what they are doing and write an essay on how wrong I am. it's almost like a drug to get that sort of response in droves it's easy to make a habit out of it.
i know great power comes with great responsibility, having an audience and platform and all but this is also why critical thinking was taught in schools. I think its fun to rib each other for our hot opinions

I honestly had to stop watching alot of dbd content since the pallet density first came. Videos I was getting recommended where all negative and alot of the time could feel like killer bias ooze through the videos.

It's clickbait. Views are how they pay their bills, and negativity sells unfortunately. This all started getting worse once the peak of streaming and content creation passed (pandemic was peak, when everyone was stuck at home mindlessly consuming content). A popular DBD streamer was saying not long ago that at the peak they could earn up to 100k a month. Those days are long gone but to keep the money coming in they need to milk the playerbase of whatever is left. Whatever gets the most views, they will post more of. It's not exclusive to gaming either, you see it even among legitimate media sources. Whatever gets you to click, they will post.

It depends on who you watch. Survivor mains are going advocate for survivors and killer mains will for killers.
Even those who want to be viewed as both sides have a bias towards one on some issues.

scott jund was a killer main who was the advocate for survivors until the past 2 ptbs
