kinda getting tired of dealing with killers who are OP. An killer always get buffed an when survivors get some good perks killer mains are just wahhhhh and get survivors nerfed. Like what do the devs think we're all sweaty try hards. How does this matchmaking even work like why not put the try hards vs try hards. Like make ranked or something. Not all of us go into a match like we're seal team six… killer located toss a flash bang and breach move in lets torture this killer. I get both sides can be unfortunate to play going against try hards but always seems like the devs favor killers more. Were not all sweaty try hard who've studied every map know all the loops and have aim bot skills with a flashlight.

What killers are OP and how are they OP? I agree that a few of the top-tier ones are very frustrating to go against, but most of the killer roster is beatable if you know how to play against them.

I haven't noticed any uptick in variety since the update that killed pallets.

Seeing a lot of Ghoul, lots of Myers, lots of Blight etc etc

Just happens that the best Killers are also the one's with the most skill expression and/or the most fun to play.

I well its not just whinning Killers there is Whinning Survivors as Well.

Its the entitlement thats killing the game for most.

Its rather something gets nerfed for no reason and becomes unplayable/Abused by the other side or when they do Nerf the right stuff its a small nerf. Same goes for buffs. Its rather something that didnt need the buff and becomes OP or something gets barely buffed that its still bad.

The MMR is also the blame in most cases. Me a experienced Killer main (means im a average Killer) . I shouldn't be with baby survivors(not a insult) or Try hard Survivors who know every map and counter play when I should be with average Survivors.

Its also the lack of help for new players as well. There's so much in the game that its overwhelming for a new player.

but I do agree with you

I mean I know this isn't how many people still see it but at it's core DBD is a horror game. It is meant to feel intense and scary. The game was technically never meant to be balanced and yes has always favored killer ever so slightly. The killer is supposed to be something to be feared and avoided, not rushed into unless you are trying to save someone. I'm not saying killer should be incredibly over powered but yeah they should feel intimidating.

I have lost all hope that BHVR has any idea how to balance the killer roster. They’ve had years to do it and they either F up any attempt to adjust killers (e.g. Skull Merchant, Clown, Freddy) or they just ignore the killers completely (e.g. Hag, Trapper, Ghostface)

Cant denny the few they did right like billy who was ok then nerfed for no reason with overheat and year ago he got overdrive which put him into game again, doctors was good at the time but now its nit noticiable because there are many more new and reworked, buffed killers that are better than him not to mention his antiloop is very dependent on addons and he gets just area info ability because the madness slowdown and harder skillchecks only work against survivors with few hours. Mayers is in my opinion good rework because he is more versitile than old one and you have multiple forms to choose from which wasnt the case before not to mention he was garbage without certain addons, now some people claim he lost his identity but same others say with freddys first version in my opinion reworked mayers is good rework from devs. Bubbas rework was at his time god rework with charges being the thing that was goid change but now he still needs help because after some updates to his kit that should solve his addon dependency just solve it partially (before his meta was beast marks with chili now chili isnt needed but beast marks are must if you want to be able to outplay many loops with his power).

Freddys rework probably wasnt best but atleast he doesnt suck now and is just clown with weaker antiloop but has teleport with some stealth.

Ghoul, Blight, Nurse to name some? Why? Unreasonable mobility, which mostly has nothing to do with chase… then the anti loop and chase potential where they ignore half the game comes into play and it's even more obnoxious.

It doesn't take much too see why some killers are broken, arguable Vecna is also to be on that list as his official kill rate is really high since his buffs.

Blight is fine - he’s actually one of my favorite killers to go against. Nurse is OP in the hands of very skilled players, but it takes a lot of skill to be good with her. Ghoul is probably the only one that I agree is problematic because even bad players can clean up pretty easily with him.

Even if all three are in fact “OP”, that still leaves over 90% of the killer roster that isn’t.
