Stranger Things 2 confirmed
So, obviously Vecna for killer, but survivor predictions? Robin would be cool

Joyce and Hopper as the 2 survivors and a Legendary skin for Nancy for Robin if I had to guess

I'd like to get Eddie Munson for a survivor.
4 -
Doesn't change the fact that this game is in terrible state.
24 -
Sure. But there's already like a dozen ongoing threads regarding the game's health.
2 -
Hopefully robin as a survivor
3 -
Sorry for being negative, but it's hard to enjoy the new content when the game is complete mess.
13 -
No, you're fine, I get it
6 -
so no predator -_-
5 -
Alright I wonder what Vecna can do
0 -
he will probably be the solo licensed killer
4 -
I'm gonna say Joyce and Hopper with a Robin legendary for Nancy. Everyone's saying it but I think it's very likely

Looks like I'm coming out of retirement.

In my wildest dreams, I'm hoping for Joyce and Hopper as the new survivors, legendary cosmetics for Eddie and Robin, a Nancy face rework, and a shirtless Steve cosmetic from season 4. Any of that comes, I'll be a happy camper.

He better be. Stranger things is mid.

"we have Vecna at home"

No surprise for anybody keeping up with the news. Looking forward to how they're gonna adapt a character with a Freddy-like power. Having the Halloween void realm gimmick as part of his kit seems so evident that I will be very baffled if he does not. Would be cool to give Demo a bone alongside as well, he deserves it.

Yeah this was extremely predictable if you've been paying attention to recent happenings, but still disappointing. Everything was already pointing towards it, but I was really hoping that it would have all just been a coincidence. Out of any existing licensed chapter in already in the game, ST was probably the one I was least interested in getting a "sequel" for.
Hopefully the power is at least interesting.0 -
Two of the most popular Survivors and one of the most beloved Killers seems like a pretty good chapter to me, idk.

Sweet! I'd be more excited but I've kinda known it would be Stranger Things Part 2 since Hawkins got some attention and Stranger Things went on sale for the first time since it returned.
I'm hoping for Robin and Eddie (but mostly for Robin). If they make Robin a Legendary I'll honestly be a little bit disappointed. I don't think BHVR or Netflix would want to pass up on selling extra cosmetics for her but then maybe she's not that popular? If she is going to be a legendary, then we better be getting Scoops Ahoy Robin so we can be the Scoops Troop.

Stranger Theme music always give me the chills

Yeah I also hope Demo gets an update, he's kinda ass, especially after STBFL got nerfed.
He feels like a Killer stuck in 2016-2017-era DBD, despite him having been released in 2019.

Wait.. another Vecna? Are they the same Vecna or just same name?

Completely different character.

Different characters. The kids in Stranger Things are big D&D nerds, so they name all the monsters in the show after monsters in D&D.

I hate Stranger Things, terrible show in my opinion, and with the game being in such a bad state right now, I wouldn’t spend money on it even if I were interested.

Please 🙏 more Nancy skins! Please 🙏

🌑 Vecna - Power: Upside Down Demon
Death won't accept him and thus he remains, a calamity, indisputable master of his victims' nightmares (now called the Upside Down).
Upside Down Demon allows Vecna to pull Survivors into the Upside Down World.I. Awake Survivors & The Upside Down Transition
- Invisibility: Survivors who are Awake do not see Vecna.
- Upside Down Transition: Once targeted by Vecna's power, Survivors enter the Upside Down Transition for 7 seconds.
- Intermittent Visibility: During the Upside Down Transition, Survivors can see Vecna intermittently (flickering in and out of sight).
- Attack Inhibition: During the Upside Down Transition, Vecna cannot attack the Survivor.
II. The Upside Down World (Asleep Survivors) - When the Upside Down Transition lapses, the Survivor is pulled into the Upside Down World.
- Aura Reading: Survivor's auras are revealed to Vecna when they are outside his Terror Radius (24 meters).
- Action Penalty: Survivors suffer an action speed penalty of 50% when performing Repair, Heal, and Sabotage actions.
III. Exiting the Upside Down World
To exit the Upside Down World, Survivors can: - Find non-Upside Down Survivors to perform a Wake Up action.
- Have certain failed actions (like a failed Skill Check) occur.
- Be rescued from a Hook.

We already have Freddy Krueger.

I know nothing about ST not do i care, however ST has been imo the highest quality DLC for quite some time. Steve is handsome, Nancy has her fans, and Demo was a solid killer for years with great teachables. Great terror radius and menu themes.
I still don't have interest in the property itself but I'm excited to see if part 2 will be a banger like the first.

dont forget: free U+1F1F5 U+1F1F8

she needs a new character model because this is not acceptable
4 -
Yeah but we need something to be positive about.
-3 -
to quote Ronald Reagan...we love our Nancy! that is peak dbd right there

Im asuming they will go all out with atleast 2-4 legendaries and skins for all. Joyce n hopper seem like the best fit and then eddie and robin for legrndaries on steve n nancy, seeing how the relationship got rocky before they might try to get more content then last time all packed in at once incase it happens again.

That's been my thinking too. Or a nightfall like Dredge but for the upside down.
1 -
Name only.
Since Stranger Things has many references to the D&D universe, it was natural to name the final boss kind of character "Vecna"ST Vecna is not based around magic, but rather telekinesis (similar to Sadako).

Eddie is the obvious survivor, Beth could be a second

But shouldn't we all aim for being positive about improvements of the game itself (of course they first need to happen) instead of new content which - looking at the recent past - will also be released in some bad state?
I personally could wait another 3 or 4 months before ANYTHING new gets released when they freaking get a grip and REPAIR their game.
1 -
You are too optimistic. I don‘t think chapters woukd be twice as good if they had twice as much time. We would get the same content just half the amount.
2 -
Hate to break to you, but I don’t think BHVR is trust worthy enough for that, at least based on the last 6 or so months. If we spend a few months hoping that they will be able to solve a lot of issues, then there will potentially be a lot of disappointments.
I’m hoping that BHVR does prove me wrong though, I just don’t see it happening. I haven’t really been playing DBD much anyway as of recent.
0 -
Yeah, this is what I don't understand. BHVR seemingly went out of their way to get the D&D license with "Vecna". Now they're going to add another Vecna? Seems rather stupid/silly.
-2 -
Two totally different characters that are only named the same because show characters named him after the D&D character. They don't even have anyway similar power set. D&D Vecna uses magic and Stranger Things Vecna uses telekinesis and telepathy. They also have two totally different fanbases so makes total sense to tap in to both.
1 -
They're two completely different creatures from two completely different universes. Sharing a name shouldn't be a reason to exclude one. The ST "Vecna" is given that name by the main characters (they are big D&D fans, likewise it's where they take the name for the Demogorgon) because they don't know his real name (it's Henry Creel).
