After watching Stranger Things Season 5, Demogorgon deserves a rework
Demogorgon should be able to teleport to any walls, floors, doors or ceilings. Demo needs a model and texture update, more skins such as a burned/damaged demogorgon and a second mori animation where he slash a survivor with his claw which disembowl them then fling the survivor far away.

I think that there is a high possibility that we get more Skins for Demo when Stranger Things 2 is in DBD.
When it comes to gameplay, I dont think that your proposal makes much sense. It would be a lot of work, because you would need to make sure that it is balanced and also that Demo cannot get stuck somewhere (e.g. when a Gen is under the ceiling he is just coming out).

That's a game development issue. In the show, Demogorgon is able to cross the dimension anywhere even inside a door. He should be able to do that.
2 -
You dont really know what you are talking about, eh? You cannot really adapt everything to the game like it is in the source material. And in the end, gameplay should always be the priority.

Most of these characters aren't going to be accurate. They'd be too strong. Wesker is a superhuman that can move at teleport-level speeds but in this game a group of teenage delinquents and a deformed redneck are somehow faster than him.

Ah, got it. You know everything, and everyone else “doesn’t know what they’re talking about.” Thanks for clearing that up. Good thing game design starts and ends with your personal rulebook, huh?
Oh absolutely, gameplay should be the priority, which is why half the roster has powers held together with duct tape and survivor coping sweat. But sure, lore accuracy is where we draw the line, right?

True, perfect accuracy would break the game. Nobody’s asking for Wesker to start speed-blitzing survivors into another dimension but “can’t be 1:1 accurate” doesn’t mean “should be stripped down to the point of feeling nothing like the source.” There’s a middle ground between lore-god and Dollar-Store version, and a lot of killers could stand to be a little closer to what they’re actually supposed to be.

This has nothing to do with my personal rulebook. But you say "Make this!", but "this" is not really possible. Gameplay should always take priority about source material and realism. This is just a basic rule in game development. Obviously it is great if the Devs can follow the source material as close as possible, but often enough it is not possible to copy the source material 1:1.
That you say that you want something to represent Stranger Things as much as possible does not mean that it is a) possible in game development and b) the best for the health of the game.

Nobody’s asking for 1:1 copy-paste source material. That’s a strawman you keep arguing against. “Make this” doesn’t mean “teleport exactly like the show and delete survivors instantly.” It means aim closer to the identity of the character instead of sanding everything down until it barely resembles the source.
And yes, gameplay takes priority but that doesn’t mean theme and authenticity get tossed in the trash the moment it’s inconvenient. Every licensed killer in the game is already a compromise between fun and accuracy. Some just get a better compromise than others.
Pretending it’s “impossible” to improve Demo without breaking the game isn’t a rule of game design, it’s just you assuming any change has to be extreme. There’s plenty of design space between “1:1 show accuracy” and “can barely use portals.”
The whole point is pushing him closer to what he’s supposed to be without harming balance. That’s not only possible, it’s literally what reworks are for.

sound simple and good. The least they could do is allow him tp to breakable walls. I think ceilings are pretty simple too. Aim at a ceiling to teleport there after a few seconds. Shouldnt be too difficult surely.

Just updating his portals because they are super outdated tbh, we have killers like springtrap that has beter mobility and stealth but demo is left still in the dust which sucks because he was at one time one of favorite killers survivors wanted to face but now only thing that is good at him is his shread.
1 -
Demogorgon is sadly an example of a killer who’s been powercrept severely
Why play him when dredge and Springtrap do the same but better and have no downsides
4 -
the canon reason is the entity nerfs them so they won't be able to things they normally should
0 -
Right, because the Entity ‘nerfs’ them whenever it's convenient for balance. Funny how that explanation always pops up to justify keeping killers underpowered. Maybe the survivors should get the same treatment then, so they don’t keep running circles around me every match.
But seriously, if the Demogorgon is supposed to be this terrifying interdimensional beast, it's kind of a joke that he's stuck crawling around on the ground like a pet dog. A rework could still respect the lore while actually making him feel dangerous. The Entity doesn’t have to ruin everything, just adjust a few things.
-1 -
i mean they destroyed pig traps back in the day and killers get more nerfs than buffs so the "entity" deems it necessary to nerf killers
it could buff them to full power but will it? probably not
0 -
Was the "entity" also responsible for nerfing addons which had a lot of usage rate or is that BHVR looking at the stats and said at the round table "Well, these addons are being used too much. Let's nerf it." cough mikhail's eye, toy sword cough

DBD's code doesn't like verticality. Don't get your hopes up.

At most i can see them putting his portals on walls atleast. Ones he places of course. Might help when theres not enough space on the floor

The Demogorgon does have a charred kinda skin though, right? Pretty sure I have it

This content has been removed.

New skins, sure.
New mori, maybe, if we get purchasable mori animations this might be possible.
Climbing on walls, celings ect.? That is never happening. After Kaneki released we got an explanation that verticality is almost impossible to add into this game, and ideally a killer never truly leaves the ground.
Only exception is Twins and Victor is famous for how buggy he is.

Oh! we could give him a dash
Oh Oh! and a teleport!!!
So he will be unique~

I still can't believe that KFC decided to promote ST, and chose a chicken burger instead of Demogoujons. What a wasted opportunity.

Demo's completely fine. Just could use a few (small) buffs in other areas (shred, stealth, tp) to bring him more up to speed since he's rather outdated.

Don't think demo needs a rework based on new lore from the show. Making portals work on ceilings, and particularly walls would be a technical nightmare for the devs, lot of effort to put into a killer that is already fine as it is. And I say that as a demo main, it works fine as is.
Adding lore accurate powers to killers would make the game more horribly unbalanced than it already is.
I mean the demo can run at speeds in excess of 30-40 miles an hour in the show when it chases down trucks. Don't think that seems a necessary change either.
New mori and skins would be nice. I imagine we'll get a skin or two, but I'd imagine most of the effort is going into dev work on vecna
