Ive noticed it went from about 1-2 minutes to 4-7 minutes

I've seen lots of talk about survivors taking a break, but not so much about killers doing it.. Are killer queues longer?

6 minutes for me now. 10-12 minutes at evening/nighttime because not enough killers want to deal with sweaty swfs especially in the weekends.

Deadbyqueue.com tends to be a good indicator of current queue times (at least on my end)

They have been scaring killers away for 2 years with their survivor buffs, one killer sided patch won't change a general trend.

Yes, this is usually a good indicator. Instant for Survivor during the day and still fast in the evening. Which has nothing to do with any Balance Decisions or anything, this is just normal player behavior - in the evening more Survivors are playing because more people have freetime and play with their friends.
E.g. when I play Killer during the day and then start SWFing with my friend, not only do we need a Killer for our match, but me not being in the Killer Pool means that 4 Survivors need an additional Killer as well.

Survivor is instant for me in the daytime, killer is instant for me at night. There's never any change in this pattern except for during events, particularly 2v8.

I played last night. My survivor queue times were 3-5 minutes and my killer queue times were instant. Basically the same as it’s been for a long time. Survivor players are not leaving the game en masse like some here want us to believe. They’re doing just fine.
Go ahead and downvote all you want, it’s not going to change reality. Honestly if you guys are so miserable playing the game, why are you still playing it?

Ive only noticed it on the survivor side. But when I play killer its the opposite.
I think it can be the separate Q times but even then this feels longer than before.
I can be wrong though

Honestly as someone who has played since 2016 I feel very disconected with all this queue time talk, like outside of times were 2v8 is there I barely notice the queue times, like I remember before we had like 10 min queues, like I dont see the problem now.

Yeah, I would say the same. Like at some point queues for Survivor are instant, but at least in my region, when it comes to evening, they get a bit longer, but I dont wait longer than 1 or at max 2 minutes. Which is no issue at all.
But obviously OP wants to say that Killers are leaving and that Survivor queues are long. They are doing only posts like that.

Yeah same. I'm pretty tired of everyone trying to use queue times as a way to push which ever narrative they prefer. It's a boring tactic, and it's one of those things, much like DCs, that BHVR has data on and no amount of trying to invent a problem is going to override what they have in front of them.

Just happens sometimes. My area is usually short surv queue through the day, short(ish) killer queue through the night but it sometimes changes. Could be that the event + recent announcement are shepherding people back.

Instant for killer all night. 3-5 minutes for survivor all day. It's region based. Everyone should stop just screenshotting their own region and using that as proof. I could easily just have screenshot USA and said killers don't exist and there are too many survivors.

Could it be that testing the New Map has splitt the queues again?
Because when I went for the normal game it kinda was instant and the other "to see the new map" took some time

Its the norm. Quicker during the day slower at night. All though I've noticed that in certain regions survivor during the night is getting increasingly longer.

I started in between twins and trickster yeah 10 minutes was the norm for survivor. crazy how far we've come

I've noticed quite longer queues as Survivor in the evening and instant Killer queues during that time, similar to how it was ~2 years ago. I play in Middle Europe.
During the day its the other way around, long queues for Killer and instant for Survivor. I wonder what changed, since the game is currently easier for Killers so I'd expect Killer queues to be longer always.

Can it be related to sudden drop of players? Online became worse, 40k player compared to usual 60k on Steam

No idea if related. I think it just means there's a good balance of killers and survivors currently online

but the new update is so horrible survivors are supposed to stop playing and make the killer times jump up to 30 mins? All these posts can’t just be doom posting could they??
