Are they not going to do any new events?
I’m honestly getting tired of it. It’s always 2v8 → Chaos Shuffle → repeat of past events → 2v8 → Chaos Shuffle → 2v8… and so on.
Why doesn’t BHVR try anything new? When modifiers were first introduced, there were tons of ideas for different modes — like a 1v1 mode, a ranked mode, a zombie mode, and more.
Why aren’t they creating any new modes?

I agree. Like Do a Dead By Daylight verson of Prop Hunt or A Rank Mode they can test out. Just something new to spice the game up

The Inverse mode was teased during the anniversary event.
That's the one where survivors are first person & killers are third person.
Maybe we'll get that soon, the teaser did show Mt. Ormond.

I didn't see them tease it, I'll have to go watch it again. Sounds good from a killer perspective but would it mean survivors will be staring at a close up of a gen for potentially up to 90s? That sounds really boring lol

The teaser was a 4 second clip of The Wraith walking around in third person.
It wasn't a teaser teaser. It was an actual teasing teaser.
They didn't show any survivor gameplay but I'm assuming you'll be able to look around while doing things.

Cause people really hate different game modes for some reason.
Yeah they are fun like 1 or 2 times when they drop. Then people optimize the full fun out of it and it´s kinda a dead mode.

Chaos Shuffle? You mean free tunneling or gen rush?
Prop Hunt sounds fun, till someone decides that it is meta to turn into the smallest object and hides or glitches beneath something.

Wouldnt mind an annual left 4 dead zombie event where you earn legendary skins of the other left 4 dead survivors. Seeing as their only problem is it has to be free

Lights Out, but it's fully about staying hidden and gens are replaced by a different objectives, like carrying lanterns to lightpoles to speed up a timer that will eventually power up the gates.
- Alternative is a sandbag mode where the last survivor standing wins.
Swapping POVs at random, sometimes everyone is in 1st person, sometimes everyone is in 3rd person.

I always liked the 5v5 option we got in that old survey. 1 killer and 4 survivors team up against another killer and 4 survivors. I think it was like a capture the flag sort of game, iirc

I only return for events, binge it like a new season of a series I love and as soon as it's back to classic 1vs4, I'm done.
So I still like the events we've got but the periods inbetween is what feels like a drag to me.

There's enough bugs as it is, let's maybe not add a whole new slew of them via new game modes that also take time and effort to create, taking away from fixing issues.
