New DS changes and MOM is fine
Never had a issue with both of them, DS only one person can use it at a time so it doesn't really matter.
MOM requires a survivor to get hit 3 times, which if you are playing the one-hit kill killers this is not an issue, there are also Make Your choice, Hex Devour Hope and other perks can can counter this perk. It can also be countered by Mori
After it activates basically the Killer will know whether you have it, so they can prioritise by hunting other survivors instead or go and tunnel, the perk in itself only extends the chase for 10-20 sec max.
Speaking this as a Killer main. Survivors needs incentive to keep playing survivors, it's about time survivors gets buff
I have been asking for ages for survivors to finally get a good perk so ppl stop using the same meta. its about time this happen
All these people who complain are people who refused to adapt, when a new killer gets released survivors have to adapt, now when a perk gets released everyone just complain without finding a counter to it

Thats literally the issue lol, i also dont mind MoM since im only playing nurse and legion but there are people who enjoy playing m1 killers like freddy,wraith,hag etc. This perk forces them to play killers who ignore MoM. Dont you think thats an issue ?

I play all Killers, there are perks and builds to counter MOM. if you suspects survivors is a SWF troll group equip the right perks and killer to counter MOM. It's overrated. and Yes i have fought against SWF that have ran it in Red Ranks
Not true, it only extends the chase for 10-20 seconds, its literally a borror time v2, this is the same thing with Freddy's release where everyone thinks hes OP, if this perk gets nerf it will turn into trash and no one will use it anymore
As of now it is in a good balance. This is a good perk in the sense where it punish camping, which is the answer survivors have been asking for, so once you hook someone you move onto the next

With any game, people playing lower tier characters get punished and have to keep in mind they are at a disadvantage, I play clown, freddy, spirit, plague. Freddy is my main but I know I can be bullied with or without mettle of man because most m1 killers without secondary attacks just get bullied anyway, so I plan accordingly with perks.

That's absolutely not the point. It is not acceptable that 10-11 Killers will be required to run very specific Perks all the time to counter a single Survivor Perk that will be meta.
And News-flash, for Devour Hope to reach 3 Tokens, you need 3 Hooks and also hope that the Totem won't be destroyed beforehand.
Your argument is utterly ludicrous. Same for @Dabrownman1812 : your solutions are not sustainable.

As with any games, some characters are better for meta. That's how metas work. Too bad yo. I understand, I wanna take freddy to rank 1s and do well but I cannot unlese I use a cheesey strat anyway, that's how it is. I have so many ebony mories on my killers it's nutz, classphoto and black box, so many black wards, p3 so they come up often. These things are doable and that's why it's worth it to p3 your killer. But, I have much better results with better killers, that's how it is.

People are just not adapting to the new strategy, with Trapper all you need is small game and you'll counter him. Hag is the same, Nurse Dead Hard plus MOM when fixed soon. There are plenty of options, people just need to wake up and stop complain about everything

There's no adapting to MoM. 10-11 Killers out 15 cannot counter it unless they run very specific Perks with very specific and situational proc requirements or run non-sustainable Ultra Rare Add-ons as soon as it's fixed.

There is no adapting to rancor either. Without building a specific perk set to try to avoid the killer, if you are the obsession, you are exposed and free morid.

I mean it's only drawback is that the opponent can see your aura but as we hear from MoM that's apparently not a drawback.
Just saying, MoM is NOT the ragnarok perk people want it to be. Its decent. But there are other, more OP perks.

Im getting blocked just because I happen to play Legion / Nurse from time to time and gets punished for it. Now with Survivors getting a new light they will have less chance of DC/ shitpost on my profile on steam.
People need to wake up and see that this is not as overpowered as they think to be. Look if its an issue with 4 ppl are running it then SWF is the problem, not the PERK
There is adapting to MoM, as I said the chase only extends up to 10-20 seconds more, Killers who can't deal with this are just bad killers. It's already easy as hell to get 2 pips and i get 3/4 kills most of the time. unless against very exp group then i get 1-2 kills.
No ultrare is needed, Killers like Myer will still work with default power, Wraith has his power to keep up with the chase. etc

Stop being so pathetic as to compare anything to MoM. The only equivalent would be a Perk that Hooks Survivors after 3 hits, nothing else.
Rancor warns the Obsession from the first Gen onwards of its presence and since it flares the aura of all Survivors at once, there's no guarantee that you'll happen across your Obsession before the gates are open.
I've faced Rancor numerous times as the Obsession and so far never fell victim to it thanks to hiding in the post-exit phase and sneaking my way out. BBQ is easy to bait the movement direction with, Rancor's flare-up is even easier to hide from.

At this point I'll stop arguing with you, because I'm feeling that I'm wasting my time. You do not want to understand the fundamental issue of MoM. Saying to ignore 10 Killers and only pick 5 from now on is not an acceptable solution.

Yes, there is also Insidious perk that can counter to this. As well as Nurse blinking directly to the Hook, setting traps up etc. Only Killers that would have trouble with this is Freddy, so its not like its 10-11 killers that would have trouble with this, people are exaggerating

@DocOctober I feel like the perk is fine where it's a one time deal and it's done, I personally haven't had a problem with it playing killer but I understand the frustration people have with it honestly I think a new killer perk in the same sense as MoM would calm alot of these people down

My theory on why this is a good idea is because it will teach the killer to become more skilled at attacking with their power than to rely solely on m1 attacks and the perk itself encourages a play style that could directly counter MoM if used properly and I'm talking wraith uncloaked attacks affecting this, hag post Phantasm, spirit post phase , trappers trap etc.... And then the insta down will negate MoM if they are healed up, just a thought though of course

MoM by itself is fine, is when it's stacked 4 times in the same match then it becomes stupidly borked against M1 killers, i don't know how people fail to realise it?
In fact it's not even just broken against M1 ones, it can be used to tank hits against any killers while bodyblocking them when going to hooks, wich again is bonkers in a "time based" game like DBD where time management and wasting others matters.
Also stop saying "Adapt", Playing a killer like Billy just to bypass one perk that some others can't is not adapting, it's just playing some other killers, you can't really "adapt" to it if you play a M1 based killer (Addons don't count because they are used after the trial and you need to buy them again).

Im fine with both of them however MoM should give you the broken status affect after use to prevent insta heals as that combined with DH is really broken right now. if the perk had some restrictions that conflicted with other perks such as dead hard it would be balanced. for example when MoM is ready to be used give perm exhaustion and a short exhaustion timer after its activation say 20 seconds and after its affect also give the broken atus for 30 seconds. DS however is fine even if the same things can happen as its short timer to be used can be countered by not tunneling or waiting for the minute to expire.
edit: MoM is fine how it is but certain combinations with other perks can make it broken especially with an insta heal.

I personally feel like the only thing that needs reworked is to make MoM not work with Freddy, I mean the dude is already so weak and now if there are 4 MoM in a match he might as well go cry in the corner until everyone leaves

Yes, Freddy is one of the very few that is already extremely weak, and this made him weaker
It takes almost a year just to buff one Killer aka Hag, while Trapper is still trash

As a survivor main I don’t think we need heavy buffs and we have good perks but people just choose the meta because well they’re meta.

I think the healing nerf was awful but the other changed seem reasonable but now it just seems that *any* perks for survivors are a problem. It gets old real quick.

MOM is fine, they fixed the Nurse's blink against it now, as a Nurse main I can still deal with survivors who uses the perk, its time for bad killers to adapt
