Something that still bugs me about Blight
Specifically PC Blights...they can just use a second program or even just some setting on their mouse to make it more sensitive to do spins that wouldn't be possible on console. Now is this cheating? Ehhh no cheating most times is full on hacking the game and taking a very clear advantage to win this would more be.…a little unfair since it's a specific group of blights that can do this plus BHVR has no real way to counter it since they can't just tell every mouse company "Hey can you not do that" now is it worth reporting? No since again it's a little annoying and really difficult to counter a pc Blight since again adjusting mouse sensitivity but not worth reporting on. Now I don't know if they adjust Blights turn rate when swinging so those insane flicks can't happen and I just really unlucky with hit validation...like always or they didn't and again PC Blight with high mouse sensitivity. I will say it's better then Spirit where the volume on their TV or headphones it cranked up to ear bleeding levels because nothing says winning like going deaf.

DbDs community is always difficult in such things.
Is it cheating if I can put background noises low with my 500$ Headset if I play Spirit? I think it is not but it is an outgame advantage.
Is it cheating to use comms which are outside of the game. I think not but it is an advantage from a third party programm.
So is it cheating when a Blight can do a 360° Flip because he used his sensibility on his mouse. Sadly I think it is not. Is it stupid? Ofcourse but it is not cheating.
Another example which came to my mind. Many players where outraged that some Huntress players used a third party cross hair. But where totally fine if someone used some tape to make a crosshair on their desktop.

That's not actually accurate. Blight still has a cap on his turn radius no matter how sensitive you make your mouse you ain't going past that.

over 12k former blight main here, i can tell u with no bs, if it was the previous update i wouldnt call blight for a big nerf, maybe remove tokens when he break pallets or hit a survivor, but now that the maps are really unsafe for survivors, he should def get a nerf if this update plans to stay for a long road. blight breaks the game.

Well on pc there are many advantages like filters that are super sensitive for red so survivors can see killers red dot even through some high wall loops almost like they had budget wallhacks or oni before some could increase their dpi so high or have higher dpi to do 180 flicks I even saw (its old but I saw it) someone on youtube with blight using program that rocked his dpi and he could spin 360 while being in dash (I guess its fixed now but it was possible back then).
Weskers hug tech is mostly about huge understanding where even some of his mains can pull it on controllers while playing on console things like hug techs, instahugs and the on pc its way easier onm 120fps but best for it is range from like 72-90 fps (the lower fps the faster weskers speeding is so he gets further when hugging the loop in hug tech, in short he gets more distance and hug tech that would miss like by few centimeters or meter and half on 120 fps that same hug tech would hit it on 60 fps), pyramidheads flicks are determind by mause dpi and lower fps too I think etc., balance landing is trigered from small drops on lower fps but on 120 you cant do it, so many things working with different settings in DBD and then you have killers like bugmaster (houndmaster) which are impossible to play without constant bugs like your dog not working and getting stuck for some parts of the match etc.. DBD is realy chaotic mess bet it was like this from release till today.
I forgot about those who main mostly huntress but it could work on springtrap, xeno, nemi, dracula even pyramidhead which is they have drawed or put throught some program or what dot or cross in the centre of the screen where is point from which huntress hatchet is released (basicaly avantage in form of having crosshair on killer where your croshair shouldnt be showed like in counter strike or pubg), I even saw it on some huntress main having it (for me someone with crosshair on huntress who is using it constantly and not just one two times trying it like coconut is just not true huntressmain but cheap knock off)

tbf,
bhvr already denied both as game makers that swfing in discord or upping the voloume to the extremes,
is technically not cheating.
a software, if possible, being able to ramp and bypass the cap beyond realistic possible means compared to an avarage dbd player, they havent said if thats allowed or not.0 -
As person who use higher DPI myself but on Executioner I don’t find it cheating? Because as more you are used to the killer, more you playing just on default with max sensitivity within game settings.
If person constantly plays with changed DPI they are more likely harming themselves.
It’s not shaders, they aren’t providing advantage by default because player have to learn to adapt to specific sensitivity. This is as same as FOV users who push their settings on max.
Otherwise you can call crouchtech, CG tech, hugtech and flicks cheating simply because they are exist in the game. While they are being the only way to express some game sense because of primitive mechanics1 -
Can't console players already use a keyboard and mouse?
Also, I would say you get the best turn rate with a controller or turn bindings (e.g., Q/E) on PC, as that provides a constant input.
Since the DPI bug is fixed, I don’t think it has any impact at all. I can imagine mouse polling rate having an impact, though, but it shouldn’t exceed the constant turning of a controller or turn bindings.
The trick to turning further is to pre-turn your camera before you M1; that way, you get roughly a 90°+90° turn. Many console players don’t seem to know that and just think, “Oh, well, it must be an advantage on PC or cheating.”While there were certain bugs you could exploit in the past (J-flick, Lag-flick), those were exceptions. PC players are just really invested in learning mechanics without any assistance and become so good that, to people who are not used to it, it looks like they have some form of assistance. The only thing the devs can do to help console players with a controller is to increase the sensitivity slider if that is a serious issue, though it should already be high enough at the maximum setting.

I think his point tho is that you can hit the cap way faster with DPI enhancements and other third party software. It's a pretty unfair advantage, seeing as blights already so strong and him turning so fast lets him hit the 180⁰ cap way faster, killing the one counterplay of hiding behind props or walls completely.

M&K support was added a few updates ago. There's still a small input lag compared to PC, but much better than with a controller. While not overly significant, that lag is felt with both movement and camera swinging. Looking up for distance with Nurse for instance, and attempting to preturn in general.
As for the controller itself, many years back they doubled their sensitivity and then pronounced that's it that's the limit they can do for them.

Sure, but thats a problem with controller, and effects a ton of other things in the game, not just blight.

Without high dpi on mause you cant flick on pyramidhead and turn so easily thats it (you can flick but its very small turn that doesnt give you that advantage but those 90 degree flicks or more when you go around the loop with your power and flick yeah thas something no one expects both killer and the survivor).

Blight’s turnrate is hard capped in the game and has been for a very long time. Also you do not even need a DPI switcher to pull off flicks, granted they are not as free as new Oni but still don’t even need that high of a sensitivity.

Oni is so easy to flick 180 now that getting that hit with 180 flick is actualy harder because of how sensitive it is but I get why they did that he is realy bad on console and without K+M he couldnt flick so console players or just people playing on controllers were hindered while playing him not to mention oni has easy counterplay and very limited power so he must get most from it (as many downs he can) if he doesnt then he is just m1 killer for the majority of the game that suffers dealing with predroping the most so he gets easily rushed in short.

cheating by definition is using a 3rd party software to gain a competitive advantage so you will be banned for using a software to hear things better. im pretty sure people have been banned for using EQ changers too - on spirit.

The thing is you can flick on default DPI. 60 fps and max sensitivity can be used within the game settings. Maybe you can slightly up mouse speed on pc setting. You aren't even using specific drivers or 3rd part programs.
After they removed flicks on Oni I would like to say there are no need to play with extremely high DPI on this game. There are a huge stereotype this brings you default advantages.
On this video you can see flicks. I didn't use anything except in game and pc default settings. You don't need “more”.
