Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

This is crazy. Like this got approved from PTB?

He gets his tier 3 from ONE person WAY too quickly. Wild.

(Whatever exposed tier 3 is called in this new Michael)

And? Compare it to billy who is harder to evade if he can aum and has his power all game, mayers has to spend time to get evil incarnate mode and all he gets is just slaughtering strike that gives him charged dash/lunge that is little faster than normal lunge attack and he can oneshot survivors with it and break pallets (plus mori survivors that are dead on hook).
You as survivor get warned by sound cue when his stalk reaches 50% global warning, when he is charging slaughtering strike there is maybe sound cue but his knife is in unique animation and it shines for uknown reason, he slows down a lot so looping can be used to doge him its like pig dash but it oneshots and its just stronger nothing more.

If you would want to make it more of stalking multiple survivors thing than you would need to buff the strike as compansation and I dobt think thats good thing to do, currently mayers is solid killer who isnt dependent on just one addon and he can be looped like any other normal killer, he lacks mobility and has now better synergy withchase perks but still this will weaken his gen deffence due to his none existant mobility. Old version was weaker and had to go through one more tier plus he had more powerfull addons and some carried him so high (tombstone which deleted any survivor he came into contact).

You know he can circumvent the slowdown by only charging the bare minimum to get the insta-down, right?
Just get up to the back of the survivor you are chasing, and instantly down them without having to risk missing the charge.

And speaking of the Slaughtering Strike, it got buffed a little too far for PC players, to the point where you are almost always guaranteed a down, unless you loop around an extremely tight round/square loop.
Myers is my main killer, so I guess I have formed some opinions on him.

It does feel a bit too easy to get there.

I would increase the stalk needed to 6 points (from 5), and return the old stalk system.

His range was limited tho. And they removed Insta 3tier hits.

The only issue for me braindead dash I’m tired from. This mechanic became much worse after Wesker release. Every dash killer after is pretty braindead

Are we seriously complaing about a killer who has been dead in the dirt for years? I am HAPPY that we finally are getting some killer variety.

Let me enjoy my survivor games for once knowing I don't have to face ghoul every single game.

The PTB version wasn't very good. He actually had more nerfs than buffs. He received his current buffs post PTB.

Mikey is just fine the way he is. He's a solid B tier killer now. You get plenty of auditory and visual warnings for when he's using his power.

It got buffed only for better control something pc players struggle less than people palying on controllers (like oni, billy, blight and more killers with limited turn rate).

Its instadown and it how many killers have instadown? billy (hig a-tier), wesker with full infection (high b-tier, his instadown is very rare to get), bubba (c-tier to maybe ,ow b-tier killer) and ghostface (d-tier, one of top 54 worst killers in the game by turns of power), many killers have instadown and having it doesnt make them op like ghostface or bubba, mayers now has just better speed and reach compare his old version but now he slows down a lot when he is charging the strike and gives survviors multiple warnings and only thing on top is palet breaking ability of strike but his recovery is long so his strike isnt something crazy and he has it for just 60 seconds compare it to onis furry utility both break pallets, both instadown only oni has huge mobility with it (his power is hardest to get in game so he is balanced well plus mayers can mori survivor death on hook which is same as having ebony mori and pyramidhead or vecna can do it to in certain cases).

Its guaranteed? I wouldnt say so first all depends is distance between survivor and mayers using his strike because he must charge it enough to make it to survivor and get that hit before survvior reach some form of safety but if he is close then tell me what killer will miss Oni? no he can just hold m1 for 0,3 seconds to have instadown, bubba or billy, ghostface? if they are close then missing is only on killer or survivor pulling trick with pallet breaking priority or crouch tech but it mostly depends on killer hitting that shot nothing more. So now mayers is stronger due to having more tools for chase and everyone is so shocked we still have killers that are busted like blight or nurse, we have killeres that are stronger and way easier to play and offer way more like ghoul, whe have killers that if didnt were the pinicle of DBD bugs for years they would be way stronger than mayers like houndmaster or twins( in top 5 strongest killers in game but its just sluging) and everyone just now sees mayers as problem because he is now what a low a-tier, his addons arent so busted as before where few addons just held him above d-tier compare to trapper or ghostface.

Pretty much he was more nerfed than buffed then the strikes cooldown was super long and limited turn rate was worse than on billy, oni which are way stronger killers because billy has power all the time and insane speed with mobility and oni has more limited, earned power that has mobility to something mayers still doesnt have so he is more effected by looping even the fact he has basekit buffs in persuer mode and evil incarnate mode in form of faster stunrecovery, breaking and vaulting speed.

I would say he is high b-tier and maybe top a-tier but again I dont think he is reaching there because he has no advanced strong techs only is more better with chase build with his natural buffs for chase but then he lacks are control and mobility compare to someone who doesnt have that instadown but has these things like larry, mayers isnt that crazy and instadown doesnt make killer op like look at bubba who is without addonst that give him (beast marks) speed and something like iri flesh compleatly weak c-tier, ghostface who without play with your food stacks and knife sheat has no help to get his instadown faster so its just like having basekit make your choice you can apply when you want (its effected by vigil I believe so such power thing it is) and strongest killers in the game except billy they dont have instadown just strong powers with insane mobility like nurse, blight, ghoul, twins, dracula only strongest killers with instadown are billy and oni and this is because they have insane speed in their dashes and huge mobility that can be used with their instadown then comes mayers (if we exclude weskers instadown that only happens if survivor allows it) and bubba up to ghostface so instadown is strong but mobility and speed outpreforms it way more than people thing.
